Background: Female depression is a prevalent and increasingly recognized mental health issue. Due to cultural and social factors, many female patients still face challenges in diagnosis and treatment, and traditional assessment methods often fail to identify high-risk individuals accurately. This highlights the necessity of developing more precise predictive tools.

Leveraging functional neuroimaging data offers an opportunity to develop more robust, data-driven approach for psychiatric disorder detection. However, existing methods often struggle to capture the long-term dependencies and dynamic patterns inherent in such data, particularly across diverse imaging sites.

We theoretically analyze the existence of minimizers in piecewise constant finite element space and constrained finite dimensional subsets. However, optimizing such minimization problems presents a computational challenge due to the nonconvex and non-differentiable properties.

However, the pattern of multimorbidity, including typical complications, remains unclear. This study aims to explore the current status and influencing factors of multimorbidity in T2DM, with a focus on mining frequent disease combination patterns and strong association rules.

Our previous single-cell sequencing results showed that G protein-coupled estrogen receptor (GPER) is overexpressed in GSRC, and this overexpression is associated with aberrant activation of the Hippo/YAP axis. In this study, we integrated in vitro cytological functional assays with GSRC cell lines and in vivo xenograft nude mice models to elucidate the functional implications of GPER in GSRC.

The model has a unique stationary distribution, which reflects the persistence of epidemics over a long period. Using the Has-minskii theorem and constructing stochastic Lyapunov functions with regime switching, we derive an important condition Comparing the expression for and we can see that if there is no environmental noise, then It ensures the asymptotic stability of the positive equilibrium of the corresponding deterministic system.

Early identification is crucial, as more than half of DPN patients are asymptomatic in the early stage. This study aimed to develop and validate multiple risk prediction models for DPN in patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus (T2DM) and to apply the Shapley Additive Explanation (SHAP) method to interpret the best-performing model and identify key risk factors for DPN.

General practitioners (GPs) have reported a lack of confidence and support in the management of obesity. In this study, we explored GPs' current definitions and treatment of obesity and their attitudes towards proposed clinician educational and billing strategies.

Sonodynamic therapy (SDT) presents unique advantages of noninvasive in situ treatment and the potential for antitumor immune activation. Building upon SDT technology, the study reports on a novel biodegradable sonosensitizer, CaSO, characterized by a narrow bandgap, abundant oxygen vacancies and a rapid ultrasound (US) response for abdominal SDT.

This study examines the diversity and functional roles of endophytic fungi naturally colonizing the roots of an artificially established forest and the naturally reclaimed pioneer species on an abandoned tailing dam in southwest China. Culture-independent analyses revealed that the root systems of both plant species were abundantly colonized by arbuscular mycorrhizal fungi and endophytic fungi, forming rich and diverse endophytic fungal communities predominantly represented by the genera , , , and unclassified members of Helotiales.

Here, a bifunctional catalyst CoOOH/CF is proposed to enhance the PESA process. Benefiting from the efficient activation of O by CoOOH/CF, NO yield rate can reach the highest value of 171.

Natural products, which are compounds extracted and/or refined from plants and microbes in nature, have great potential for the discovery of therapeutic agents, especially for infectious diseases and cancer. In recent years, natural products have been reported to induce multiple cell death pathways to exhibit antitumor effects. Among them, pyroptosis is a unique programmed cell death (PCD) characterized by continuous cell membrane permeability and intracellular content leakage.

Background: Cardiovascular diseases (CVD) constitute a grave global health challenge, engendering significant socio-economic repercussions. Carotid artery plaques (CAP) are critical determinants of CVD risk, and proactive screening can substantially mitigate the frequency of cardiovascular incidents. However, the unequal distribution of medical resources precludes many patients from accessing carotid ultrasound diagnostics.

This study endeavor was aimed at evaluating the potential risks posed by the CP4-EPSPS protein in transgenic crops, thereby contributing to the advancement of risk assessment methodologies in the context of genetically engineered crops.
Methods: To ascertain the appropriate daily dosages for oral gavage administration, the expression levels of the CP4-EPSPS protein in a recombinant yeast were quantified.
Background: Anemia represents a well-established risk factor for patients diagnosed with gastric cancer, and is often associated with an unfavorable prognosis. In this context, the timely prediction of distant metastasis risk in patients with anemic gastric cancer assumes paramount importance.
Methods: Information of gastric cancer patients complicated with preoperative anemia in the First Affiliated Hospital of Sun Yat-sen University was collected.

A stochastic Microcystins degradation model with distributed delay is studied in this paper. We first demonstrate the existence and uniqueness of a global positive solution to the stochastic system. Second, we derive a stochastic critical value $ R_0^s $ related to the basic reproduction number $ R_0 $.
