Article Abstract

To better reconstruct the piecewise constant optical coefficients in diffuse optical tomography, nonconvex and nonsmooth approximation of weak Mumford-Shah functional is considered in this paper. We theoretically analyze the existence of minimizers in piecewise constant finite element space and constrained finite dimensional subsets. However, optimizing such minimization problems presents a computational challenge due to the nonconvex and non-differentiable properties. To overcome these difficulties, we propose a fast graduated nonconvex alternative directional multiplier method to solve this numerical problem. Compared with graduated nonconvex Gaussian-Newton, [Formula: see text] Gaussian-Newton, and TV Gaussian-Newton, our simulations show that the proposed GNC-ADMM can well keep edges and values of the anomaly with fewer iteration steps and fewer measurements.

Bismuth ferrite (BiFeO) is a semiconductor with multiferroic properties, synthesized by the sol-gel method. While static high-pressure studies have advanced our understanding of the phase behavior of BiFeO, the effects of dynamic pressure acoustic shock waves remain unexplored. In this study, BiFeO was subjected to 100 shock pulses with 0.

Lithium metavanadate (LiVO) is a material of growing interest due to its monoclinic 2/ structure, which supports efficient lithium-ion diffusion through one-dimensional channels. This study presents a detailed structural, electrical, and dielectric characterization of LiVO synthesized a solid-state reaction, employing X-ray diffraction (XRD), scanning electron microscopy with energy-dispersive X-ray spectroscopy (SEM-EDS), and impedance/dielectric spectroscopy across a temperature range of 473-673 K and frequency range of 10 Hz to 1 MHz. XRD and Rietveld refinement confirmed high crystallinity and single-phase purity with lattice parameters = 10.

Electric Field Influences on the Carrier Transport Characteristics of an Individual CsPbBr Microplate.

National Laboratory of Solid State Microstructures, School of Physics, and Collaborative Innovation Center of Advanced Microstructures, Nanjing University, Nanjing 210093, China.

For optoelectronic devices based on lead-halide perovskites and other semiconductors, a comprehensive understanding of the electric field influences on the carrier transport characteristics is critical to the optimization of their practical performances. To fulfill this challenging goal, here we have employed photoluminescence spatial image and transient absorption microscopy measurements on an individual CsPbBr microplate biased at external voltages in an Au/CsPbBr/Au device. At the subpicosecond time scale, some photogenerated excitons are dissociated into free electrons and holes that drift toward the electrodes to leave behind unfilled defect sites, which are capable of scattering the residual excitons to yield a reduced diffusion coefficient.
