Objective: This study focuses on the cognitive dysfunction in patients with Alzheimer's disease (AD), aims to in-depth analysis of the Apolipoprotein E (ApoE) gene polymorphism, homocysteine (Hcy) and the intrinsic relationship between the disease, and build accurate and effective prediction model.
Methods: A total of 193 AD patients were divided into a training set ( = 135) and a validation set ( = 58) according to the ratio of 7:3. The risk factors were screened by univariate and multivariate Logistic regression in the training set, and the nomogram model was constructed.

Aims: To describe the leadership trajectories of graduates of a Doctor of Philosophy in Nursing Education programme in a single university in the Philippines and examine how the doctoral programme influenced these trajectories.
Design: Qualitative design, specifically thematic narrative analysis.
Methods: A total of 10 purposively selected graduates of the programme were interviewed with the aid of videoconferencing and life-calendaring methods.

Background: Compassion fatigue is a common issue nursing students face during clinical internships. Prolonged exposure to patients' suffering and trauma can lead to emotional exhaustion and psychological stress. Compared to formal healthcare workers, nursing students have less professional experience and weaker emotional regulation abilities, making them more vulnerable to secondary trauma and other negative emotions, which exacerbates compassion fatigue.

This study uses network meta-analysis to evaluate the relative effectiveness of different interventions (behavioral, psychological, and comprehensive) in alleviating compassion fatigue, burnout, and secondary traumatic stress, as well as in improving compassion satisfaction among nurses, aiming to provide evidence-based insights for enhancing nurses' mental health and care quality. Compassion fatigue in nurses negatively affects their mental health, patient care quality, and healthcare efficiency. Various interventions (psychological, behavioral, and integrated) target this issue, but evidence on their effectiveness is inconclusive.

Although the severity of Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome Coronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV-2) appears to be decreasing and the threat of COVID-19 is waning, there have been widespread concerns about persistent symptoms or sequelae experienced by some patients even after recovering from COVID-19. Traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) has shown favorable treatment outcomes during the onset of COVID-19, and extensive studies have been carried out to explore the efficacy of TCM interventions during the COVID-19 recovery period.

Aim: This study aims to explore the influence of emotion regulation on empathic ability among undergraduate nursing students, as well as the mediating role of emotional intelligence and self-consistency congruence.
Design: A cross-sectional study was employed to examine the relationship between the emotion regulation and empathic ability in Chinese nursing students.
Methods: A total of 761 undergraduate nursing students were surveyed using the Interpersonal Reactivity Index (Chinese version), the Gross Emotion Regulation Questionnaire, Wang and Law's Emotional Intelligence Scale and the Self-Harmony Scale.

This study aims to assess the current status of health information literacy (HIL) among older adults in the community in the context of COVID-19 and to identify its associated factors.
Methods: A cross-sectional survey was conducted from April to July, 2021, for which 617 community elderly members were recruited in Chenzhou, China.
