Magnetic 2D materials offer a compelling platform for next-generation electrocatalysis by enabling spin-dependent reaction pathways. Among them, layered ferromagnets such as FeGeTe (FGT) have garnered attention for combining intrinsic ferromagnetism with high predicted oxygen evolution activity. However, the stability of non-oxide ferromagnets in electrochemical environments remains an unresolved challenge, limiting their envisioned applications.

Research Background: Alzheimer's Disease (AD) is a neurodegenerative condition marked by symptoms including aphasia and diminished verbal fluency. Researchers have employed phonetic attributes, fluency, pauses, and various paralinguistic traits, or derived aspects from transcribed text, to identify Alzheimer's disease.
Methods And Methodology: Nevertheless, conventional acoustic feature-based detection techniques are constrained in their ability to capture semantic information, and the process of transcribing speech into text is both time-consuming and labour-intensive.

The ZrO-embedded carboxy-functionalized -BN composite, combined with graphene oxide (GO), formed a novel BN-COOH@ZrO/GO composite. Structural characterization through IR, Raman spectroscopy, powder X-ray diffraction, and X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy supported the successful preparation of the composite, while scanning electron microscopy and transmission electron microscopy revealed its surface morphology and the presence of component materials. UV-vis spectroscopy (solid state) further supported these findings.

In this work, we have adopted an easy route to synthesize bis-1,2,3-triazole-based benzophenone compounds via a 1,3-dipolar cycloaddition reaction (Click chemistry). All the target compounds achieved better yields through the microwave-assisted method than the conventional method. Target compound structures were confirmed on the basis of the IR, H NMR, C NMR, and HR mass analysis.

The growing worry for human health stems from the fact that micropollutants (MPs), particularly dyes, are more common in aquatic settings. These particles pose a serious risk to both humans and animals since they have been found in a variety of bodily fluids and waste products from both humans and animals. MPs pose significant dangers to human health and other living things due to their extended half-lives, high fragmentation propensity, and capacity to absorb organic pollutants as well (MB, MR, MO and CV dyes) and heavy metals as well (Pb(II), Cd(II) Co(II) Cr(III) and Ag(I) ….

A series of chelated metal complexes, [Co(L)] (1), [Ni(L)] (2), [Cu(L)] (3) [Co(L)] (4), [Ni(L)] (5) and [Cu(L)] (6) were designed and synthesized from newly synthesized Schiff bases, L = 2-((E)-(5-(4-fluorophenyl)isoxazol-3-ylimino)methyl)-5-methylphenol and L = 2-((E)-(5-(4-fluorophenyl)isoxazol-3-ylimino)methyl)-4-chlorophenol. The synthesized compounds were characterized by elemental analysis, nuclear magnetic resonance spectroscopy (NMR), electronic spectroscopy (UV-Vis), infrared spectroscopy (FT-IR), magnetic susceptibility (µ), electron spin resonance spectroscopy (ESR), Thermogravimetric analysis (TGA), scanning electron microscopy (SEM), energy dispersive X-ray analysis (EDX), and powder X-ray diffraction analysis (P-XRD). The spectral investigations have been clearly suggested 1:2 (metal: ligand) stoichiometric complexes with square planar geometrical arrangement around the metal ion.

A convenient synthesis of a novel 1,3,4-oxadiazole derivative, specifically known as, 2-(5-methylthiophen-2-yl)-5-(pyridin-3-yl)-1,3,4-oxadiazole (MTPO), is reported along with a comprehensive evaluation of its ability to inhibit the corrosion of mild steel (MS) in a 1 N HCl environment using weight loss, EIS, PDP, SEM, EDX, and UV-Vis spectroscopy. The investigated inhibitor expressed excellent inhibition efficiency (99.05% at 500 ppm, 298 K) with a mixed-type inhibitory mechanism as demonstrated by the PDP technique.

Industries today place a high premium on environmentally friendly supplies that may effectively inhibit metal dissolution at a reasonable cost. Hence, in this paper, we assessed the corrosion inhibition effectiveness of the Thiazole derivative namely, 2, 2-Dithio Bisbenzothiazole (DBBT) against mild steel (MS) corrosion in 1 M HCl. Several experimental approaches, including gravimetric analysis, potentiodynamic polarization (PDP), electrochemical impedance spectroscopy (EIS), and surface exploration using scanning electron/atomic force microscopy (SEM/AFM) and contact angle (CA), were utilized to conduct the measurements.

Although graphene and graphene-based materials (GBMs) offer a wide range of possible applications, interest in their use as barrier layers or as reinforcements in coatings for the mitigation of corrosion has grown during the past decade. Because of its unique two-dimensional nanostructure and exceptional physicochemical characteristics, graphene has gotten a lot of attention as an anti-corrosion material. This enthusiasm is largely driven by the requirement to integrate more features, improve anti-corrosion effectiveness, and eventually prolong the service duration of metallic components.

The rapid global expansion of industrialization has resulted in the discharge of a diverse range of hazardous contaminants into the ecosystem, leading to extensive environmental contamination and posing a pressing ecological concern. In this context, activated carbon (AC) has emerged as a highly promising adsorbent, offering significant advantages over conventional forms. For instance, AC has demonstrated remarkable adsorption capabilities, as evidenced by the successful removal of atrazine and ibuprofen using KOH and KOH-CO-activated char, achieving impressive adsorption rates of 90% and 95%, respectively, at an initial dosage of 10 mg L.
