Gene expression evolution in reproductive organs plays a central role in species divergence, yet cell-type-resolved patterns in invertebrates remain poorly understood. We used single-nucleus RNA-sequencing to profile testis and ovary transcriptomes from the sibling species and . Despite conserved cellular composition, we observed highly cell-type-specific expression and coexpression network divergence between species. In the testis, mitotic cells were conserved across species, mirroring patterns in mammals, while divergence peaked in late spermatocytes. In the ovary, divergence was less pronounced, peaking in early germline and late-stage follicle cells, and enriched on the chromosome, consistent with a faster- effect driven by positive selection. Genes expressed in these cell types exhibited narrower expression breadth, younger phylogenetic age, and elevated rates of protein evolution in both tissues. Our findings reveal contrasting evolutionary regimes in male and female germlines, shaped by adaptive and non-adaptive mechanisms, contingent on cell type and chromosomal context.

Perinatal stroke is a vascular injury occurring early in life, often resulting in motor deficits (hemiplegic cerebral palsy/HCP). Comorbidities may also include poor neuropsychological outcomes, such as deficits in memory. Previous studies have used resting state functional MRI (fMRI) to demonstrate that functional connectivity (FC) within hippocampal circuits is associated with memory function in typically developing controls (TDC) and in adults after stroke, but this is unexplored in perinatal stroke.

Purpose: Bone-patellar tendon-bone (BPTB) and Hamstring (HT) autografts are commonly used for anterior cruciate ligament reconstruction (ACLR). Concerns exist regarding postoperative anterior knee pain (AKP) and kneeling discomfort with BPTB grafts. However, many studies solely report the presence/absence of anterior knee pain, without assessing its clinical significance in terms of functional limitation or impact on quality of life.

Purpose: To evaluate the efficacy and underlying mechanism of advanced optimal pulse technology intense pulsed light (AOPT) in low-energy triple-pulse long-width mode (AOPT-LTL) for melasma treatment.
Methods: An in vivo guinea pig model of melasma was established through progesterone injection and ultraviolet B radiation. Three sessions of AOPT-LTL treatment were performed weekly.

Objectives: End stage renal disease (ESRD) is a major disease that seriously threatens the health of young people, and kidney transplantation is an effective treatment method to improve its prognosis.Young ESRD patients at a critical stage of life development often face significant physical and psychological challenges while waiting for kidney transplantation. Their psychological state directly affects treatment compliance and transplantation outcomes.

Objectives: Urinary calculi are characterized by a high recurrence rate, and patients' adherence to self-management after discharge directly affects health outcomes. Traditional offline follow-up models often face problems such as poor compliance and uneven allocation of medical resources, making it difficult to meet individualized health management needs. Remote follow-up provides a novel solution to optimize long-term management, improve health literacy, and enhance clinical outcomes.
