Article Abstract

Artificial intelligence generated content (AIGC) has made significant strides in enabling users to create various realistic visual content, such as images, videos and audio. Diffusion models have shown promise in generating higher-quality images when the user inputs the prompts. However, the prompts and the generated images may contain some privacy information. To address these concerns, this paper proposes a privacy-preserving image synthesis protocol with the ciphertext of prompt. Specifically, we employ differential privacy-stochastic gradient descent (DP-SGD) to update parameters within the Unet instead of the entire parameters, while protecting the privacy of the generated image without decreasing its quality. To ensure prompt confidentiality, we utilize function encryption and design a secure cross-attention for subsequent propagation. Furthermore, based on the theoretical analysis and experimental results, the generated images under the ciphertext prompts can achieve differential privacy, and were almost identical to those under the plaintext prompts.

Objectives: To explore the relationships between cardiac parameters and body composition indices, identifying predictors of subclinical cardiac systolic dysfunction.

Methods: Using anthropometric and serological parameters, echocardiography, and body composition analysis, this study evaluated metabolic profiles, cardiac remodeling patterns, and body composition characteristics in young adult obese patients, while quantifying the correlations between cardiac parameters and body composition indices. Subclinical left ventricular systolic dysfunction was defined as global longitudinal strain (GLS) < 18%.

Follicular unit extraction (FUE) has become a leading technique in hair transplantation, yet optimal management of the donor area remains a clinical challenge. This systematic review analyzes intraoperative and postoperative interventions applied to the donor area in FUE hair transplantation, with a focus on both clinical outcomes and the cellular and molecular mechanisms involved in tissue repair, inflammatory response, and regenerative processes. A comprehensive literature search was conducted in PubMed and EMBASE (January 2000-June 2025), identifying clinical studies that evaluated donor area treatments and reported outcomes related to healing, inflammation, infection, and patient satisfaction.

This study investigates the impact of a defined starter culture on the fermentation of cocoa beans and its influence on the production of volatile and non-volatile compounds related to sensory quality. A microbial consortium comprising Saccharomyces cerevisiae, Pichia kudriavzevii, Levilactobacillus brevis, and Acetobacter okinawensis was selected based on their enzymatic activity and acid regulation properties. Fermentation trials showed that the starter culture enhanced the synthesis of key volatile compounds, particularly esters and higher alcohols, such as 2-phenylethanol and 2-phenylethyl acetate, which contribute floral and fruity aromas.

Carbon-11 (C)-labeled radiotracers are invaluable tools in positron emission tomography (PET), enabling real-time visualization of biochemical processes with high sensitivity and specificity. Among the various C synthons, cyclotron-produced [C]CO is a fundamental precursor, though its direct incorporation into complex molecules has traditionally been limited by its low reactivity, gaseous form, and short half-life. Recent advances in [C]CO fixation chemistry through both nonphotocatalytic and photocatalytic methods have significantly expanded its utility in the synthesis of structurally diverse compounds, including carboxylic acids, carbonates, carbamates, amides, and ureas.

Purpose: The purinergic receptor P2X4 is critical to transduction of ocular pain. The aim of this study was to investigate the therapeutic potential of the P2X4 receptor antagonist BAY-776 in alleviating chronic ocular pain.

Methods: Chronic ocular pain was induced in male rats (8-9 weeks old; n = 12 per group) via double lacrimal gland removal (DLGR).
