Ethnopharmacological Relevance: Acute kidney injury (AKI) is a growing worldwide health concern. Danggui Shaoyao San (DGSYS) was an frequently-used representative prescription to "promote blood and water and harmonize the body" in traditional Chinese medicine, and its underlying mechanism against AKI remains to be elucidated.
Aim Of The Study: To investigate the protective effect and potential molecular mechanism of DGSYS in alleviating AKI by network pharmacology and experiment validation.

Ethnopharmacological Relevance: Buyang Huanwu Decoction (BYHWD) is traditionally prescribed for Qi-deficiency and blood-stasis stroke in TCM, yet its key pharmacologically active constituents and mechanistic basis remain to be fully elucidated.
Aim Of The Study: To investigate the key pharmacologically active constituents of BYHWD against Qi-deficiency and blood-stasis type cerebral ischemia-reperfusion injury (QDBS + CI/R), and to clarify their roles in counteracting oxidative stress, suppressing inflammation, and improving energy metabolism.
Methods: A QDBS + CI/R rat model was used to assess BYHWD's therapeutic effects via neurological and syndrome scoring, histology (HE, Nissl), and biochemical markers (T-AOC, IL-1β, IL-6, ATP, ADP).

Atherosclerosis (AS) is a chronic inflammatory disease and a key factor in cardiovascular disease. Paeoniflorin (PF), a monomer component extracted from red and white paeony roots, has been used for the prevention and treatment of cardiovascular diseases, but the specific mechanism remains unclear. ApoE mice fed a high-fat diet were randomly divided into a model group, a PF treatment group, a positive control group, and a control group fed a non-high-fat diet.

Neuropathic pain (NP) is increasingly recognized as a chronic stressor contributing to the development of depressive comorbidities through neuroimmune dysregulation. However, the mechanistic interplay between microglial polarization states and kynurenine pathway (KP) metabolism in this process remains incompletely understood. The present study investigated the therapeutic potential of paeoniflorin (PF), a bioactive monoterpene glycoside, in alleviating NP-associated depression by modulating the M1 microglial M1 polarization-kynurenine 3-monooxygenase (KMO) pathway.
