The potential of hafnia-based ferroelectric materials for Ferroelectric Random Access Memory (FeRAM) applications is limited by the imprint effect, which compromises readout reliability. Here, we systematically investigate the asymmetric imprint behavior in W/HfZrO/W ferroelectric capacitors, demonstrating that the imprint direction correlates directly with the ferroelectric polarization state. Notably, a pre-pulse of specific polarity can temporarily suppress the imprint effect.

The ATPase caseinolytic protease X (ClpX), forming the ClpXP complex with caseinolytic protease P (ClpP), is essential for mitochondrial protein homeostasis. While ClpP targeting is a recognized anticancer strategy, the role of ClpX in cancer remains underexplored. In pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma (PDAC), elevated CLPX expression correlates with poor prognosis, suggesting its oncogenic function.

Nitric oxide (NO) is a multifunctional signaling molecule in oncology, influencing tumor progression, apoptosis, and immune responses. In contrast, chlorambucil (Cbl), a DNA-alkylating chemotherapeutic, induces cytotoxicity through DNA damage. Here, we report a photoresponsive nanoparticle platform for sequential codelivery of NO and Cbl, where NO is released within 10 min of irradiation, followed by Cbl release within 30 min.

Aims: Sustained neuroinflammation following ischemic stroke impedes post-injury tissue repairment and neurological functional recovery. Developing innovative therapeutic strategies that simultaneously suppress detrimental inflammatory cascades and facilitate neurorestorative processes is critical for improving long-term rehabilitation outcomes.
Methods: We employed a microglia depletion-repopulation paradigm by administering PLX5622 for 7 days post-ischemia; followed by a 7-day withdrawal period to allow microglia repopulation.

Modern anesthesia, intensive care, and emergency medicine rely heavily on neuromuscular blocking agents (NMBAs), first introduced in 1942. These agents not only facilitate endotracheal intubation but also improve surgical conditions by suppressing muscle responses to stimuli. NMBAs function via depolarizing (eg, succinylcholine) or non-depolarizing mechanisms.
