Background Hypertension is a chronic condition defined by persistent high blood pressure (BP) that leads to significant health impacts. Evidence-based clinical guidelines provide recommendations for the diagnosis and treatment of hypertension. These recommendations are frequently incorporated into clinical decision support (CDS) systems used by clinicians.

Background: Blood pressure (BP) is a common clinical measurement, now increasingly done at home. Media websites often display images of BP measurement to represent clinical medicine, but many images deviate from guidelines, potentially creating misperceptions on how measurement should be performed. We evaluated the accuracy of BP measurement images online according to the 2023 International Consensus on Standardized Clinic BP Measurement.

Aims: Type 2 diabetes (T2D) related cognitive impairment links to comorbid and modifiable olfactory dysfunction; however, the efficacy of olfactory training (OT) to mitigate cognitive decline specifically in these patients with mild cognitive impairment (MCI) remains unestablished. This study aimed to determine whether OT alleviates cognitive decline in this population.
Materials And Methods: In this 16-week, open-label trial, 60 T2D participants with MCI were randomly assigned (1:1) to OT or routine care (control).

Background: The objective is to evaluate the differences in the efficacy of wound care algorithms for diabetic foot ulcers (DFUs) and venous leg ulcers (VLUs) treated by a mobile wound clinic. Most patients requiring home treatment performed worse with the standard of care (SOC) compared to those in traditional outpatient clinics, especially chronic wounds associated with multiple comorbidities.
Methods: A retrospective chart review was conducted on one year's data from patient records of a mobile wound clinic (July 2022 - June 2023) involving patients suffering from DFU and VLU.
