Article Abstract

In this work, an efficient sensing platform deoxynivalenol (DON) detection was constructed through monitoring the current change of a competitive mechanism triggered by DON, leading the signal label detached from the electrode surface by square-wave voltammetry using thionine (Thi) as a redox indicator. The complementary strand of aptamer (cDNA) and Thi were loaded onto Fe/Ni bimetallic metal-organic framework loaded with sliver nanoparticles (AgNPs@FeNi-MOF) to construct AgNPs@FeNi-MOF/cDNA/Thi signal probes. In the presence of DON, the aptamer sequence was more predisposed to form an aptamer-DON complex, resulting in the displacement of the cDNA. The signal probe was subsequently released, leading to a decrease in the signal intensity of Thi. Notably, AgNPs@FeNi-MOF has a larger electroactive specific surface area and is able to load more cDNA and thi, which can amplify the signal. Under the optimal experimental conditions, the developed sensor exhibits a good linear response in the range of 1 × 10 to 1 × 10 pg/mL, with a limit of detection (LOD) of 5.68 fg/mL and has good selectivity, reproducibility and stability.

In this work, a dual-signal ratiometric electrochemical aptasensor based on the hybrid chain reaction (HCR) and streptavidin-modified magnetic beads (SA-MBs) was developed to rapidly detect zearalenone (ZEN). The HCR, as a powerful signal amplification technique to imporve the signal of sonser. When the target is present, they specifically bind with ZEN-Apt and release ZEN-cDNA to trigger HCR.

A signal-amplified platform was designed to construct a label-free electrochemical aptasensor for lead ions (Pb) assay. First, flower-like molybdenum disulfide-supported AuNPs (AuNPs@MoS) nanocomposites were synthesized and used as substrates for modifying the electrode. The AuNPs@MoS material possessed large surface area and superior biocompatibility, which was beneficial to improve the loading amount of the complementary DNA (cDNA) and amplified the response signal.

Due to the diversification and complexity of organophosphorus pesticide residues brings great challenges to the detection work. Therefore, we developed a dual-ratiometric electrochemical aptasensor that could detect malathion (MAL) and profenofos (PRO) simultaneously. In this study, metal ions, hairpin-tetrahedral DNA nanostructures (HP-TDN) and nanocomposites were used as signal tracers, sensing framework and signal amplification strategy respectively to develop the aptasensor.

In the work, based on self-assembly dual-site DNA tetrahedral scaffold (DTS), thionine (Thi), and 6-(Ferrocenyl)hexanethiol (Fc6S), a multiplex strategy electrochemical platform was fabricated for the simultaneous detection of profenofos (PFF) and diazinon (DZN). Thi and Fc6S were used to label aptamers for the synthesis of probes respectively. Notably, Thi and Fc6S engendered recognizable DPV peaks at different potentials to achieve simultaneous detection of PFF and DZN.
