In this paper, we provide an approach that can simulate the behavior of insects, and the aggressive behavior of fruit flies is shown as an example. The specific workflow is as follows. (1) We obtained high-speed camera video of the fly's aggressive behavior. (2) Based on the high-speed camera video, we generated the key action diagrams for each movement. (3, 4) We used micro-computed tomography imaging to segment the leg exoskeleton models using Amira 6.0. (5) With the Blender software, we optimized the OBJ model. (6) We gave motion properties to the 3-dimensional biomechanical model in Blender. (7) Based on high-speed camera videos and the key action diagrams, we generated a 4-dimensional precision adult Drosophila melanogaster biomechanical model. Our study provides a new approach to study rapid locomotion in insects. In addition, our study provides a new idea for establishment of a 4D database, the design and fabrication of bionic multipedal robots, and the linking of nerve signaling and muscle stretching processes.

In recent years, amino acids have garnered extensive attention as environmentally friendly, small-dose additives for modulating hydrate formation and aggregation behavior. Amino acids, due to their amphiphilic nature, can adsorb at the gas-liquid interface and on hydrate crystal surfaces, thereby modifying interfacial properties and influencing crystal growth patterns. In our measurements, the amino acids displayed a concentration-dependent "double effect".

Conventional EBS centroiding methods assume the generated events follow a Gaussian distribution and require long event streams ($\gt 1$s) for accurate localization. However, these assumptions are inadequate for centroiding unresolved objects, since the EBS circuitry causes non-Gaussian event distributions, and because using long event streams negates the low-latency advantage of EBS.

With the introduction of Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS), modern vehicles are equipped with numerous sensors, significantly increasing data communication within the in-vehicle network. However, the limited bandwidth of the Controller Area Network (CAN) poses challenges for high-speed sensor data transmission. To address this, automotive ethernet is emerging as a replacement for CAN, enabling the efficient transmission of large volumes of data, such as from cameras and LiDAR.

Cavitation erosion could lead to material loss and structural damage in the flow components of hydraulic machinery, affecting the stable operation and efficiency of the equipment. This study established a cavitation erosion distance model for the gap in the cavitation field. High-speed cameras were used to capture the bubble distribution under different cavitation erosion distances.

This research introduces an interesting approach to improve pesticide delivery to corn leaves during hot climates by developing super-amphiphilic adjuvants through amino pillar[5]arene (AP5A) and cetyltrimethylammonium bromide (CTAB) complexation. The AP5A-CTAB adjuvant functions to improve droplet retention along with spreading capabilities for resolving limitations that exist in small molecule adjuvants. The AP5A-CTAB host-guest complexation was confirmed by UV-Vis, NMR spectroscopy, and Gaussian calculations.
