Malicious attacks can cause significant damage to the structure and functionality of complex networks. Previous research has pointed out that the ability of networks to withstand malicious attacks becomes weaker when networks are coupled. However, traditional research on improving the robustness of networks has focused on individual low-order or higher-order networks, lacking studies on coupled networks with higher-order and low-order networks. This paper proposes a method for optimizing the robustness of coupled networks with higher-order and low-order based on a simulated annealing algorithm to address this issue. Without altering the network's degree distribution, the method rewires the edges, taking the robustness of low-order and higher-order networks as joint optimization objectives. Making minimal changes to the network, the method effectively enhances the robustness of coupled networks. Experiments were conducted on Erdős-Rényi random networks (ER), scale-free networks (BA), and small-world networks (SW). Finally, validation was performed on various real networks. The results indicate that this method can effectively enhance the robustness of coupled networks with higher-order and low-order.

Single-cell surface-enhanced Raman scattering (SERS) has emerged as a powerful tool for precision medicine owing to its label-free detection, ultrasensitivity, and unique molecular fingerprinting. Unlike conventional bulk analysis, it enables detailed characterization of cellular heterogeneity, with particular promise in circulating tumor cell (CTC) identification, tumor microenvironment (TME) metabolic profiling, subcellular imaging, and drug sensitivity assessment. Coupled with microfluidic droplet systems, SERS supports high-throughput single-cell analysis and multiparametric screening, while integration with complementary modalities such as fluorescence microscopy and mass spectrometry enhances temporal and spatial resolution for monitoring live cells.

Balanced or biased G protein and arrestin transmembrane signaling by the adenosine 2A receptor (AAR) is related to ligand-induced allosterically triggered variation of structural dynamics in the intracellular half of the transmembrane domain (TMD). F-nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR) of a network of genetically introduced meta-trifluoromethyl-L-phenylalanine (mtfF) probes in the core of the TMD revealed signaling-related structure rearrangements leading from the extracellular orthosteric drug-binding site to the G protein and arrestin contacts on the intracellular surface. The key element in this structural basis of signal transfer is dynamic loss of structural order in the intracellular half of the TMD, as manifested by local polymorphisms and associated rate processes within the molecular architecture determined previously by X-ray crystallography.

While affinity purification-mass spectrometry (AP-MS) has significantly advanced protein-protein interaction (PPI) studies, its limitations in detecting weak, transient, and membrane-associated interactions remain. To address these challenges, we introduced a proteomic method termed affinity purification coupled proximity labeling-mass spectrometry (APPLE-MS), which combines the high specificity of Twin-Strep tag enrichment with PafA-mediated proximity labeling. This method achieves improved sensitivity while maintaining high specificity (4.

The objective of this research was to use a network toxicology approach to examine the possible toxicity of the cigarette toxicants nicotine and coal tar that cause osteoporosis (OP) as well as its molecular processes. We determined the primary chemical structures and 128 targets of action of tar and nicotine using the Swiss Target Prediction, NP-MRD, and PubChem databases. We discovered that genes including DNAJB1, CCDC8, LINC00888, ATP6V1G1, MPV17L2, PPCS, and TACC1 had a disease prognostic guiding value by LASSO analysis and differential analysis of GEO microarray data.

Developing high-performance wearable flexible sensors that can adapt well to complex environments has become a hotspot. Herein, a polyvinyl alcohol based composite hydrogel sensor with high mechanical strength, desirable frost/swelling resistance, and highly sensitive sensing performance was proposed by a multi-component collaborative design strategy. Meanwhile, an intelligent gesture recognition system was established by combining machine learning algorithm.
