Introduction: The role of imaging in radiotherapy is becoming increasingly important. Verification of imaging parameters prior to treatment planning is essential for safe and effective clinical practice.

Methods: This study described the development and clinical implementation of ImageCompliance, an automated, GUI-based script designed to verify and enforce correct CT and MRI parameters during radiotherapy planning.

∆B shim optimization performed at the beginning of an MR scan is unable to correct for ∆B field inhomogeneities caused by patient motion or hardware instability during scans. Navigator-based methods have been demonstrated previously to be effective for motion and shim correction. The purpose of this work was to accelerate volumetric navigators to allow fast acquisition of the parent navigated sequence with short real-time feedback time and high spatial resolution of the ∆B field mapping.

Background And Purpose: Magnetic resonance imaging-guided radiotherapy (MRgRT) facilitates high accuracy, small margins treatments at the cost of time-consuming and labor-intensive manual delineation of organs-at-risk (OARs). Auto-segmentation models show promise in streamlining this workflow. This study investigates the clinical applicability of a set of thoracic OAR segmentation models for baseline treatment planning in lung tumor patients.

Aim: This study aimed to evaluate the multifaceted clinical utility of the RUBY phantom as a comprehensive quality assurance (QA) platform in high-precision radiotherapy, particularly for stereotactic radiosurgery (SRS) and stereotactic radiotherapy (SRT). The objective was to validate its performance in patient positioning, imaging system accuracy, isocenter congruency, and treatment plan verification across various complex clinical scenarios.

Materials And Methods: A series of QA workflows were conducted using the RUBY phantom and its dedicated modular inserts.

Evaluating the effectiveness of distortion self-correction for CEST-EPI.

Magn Reson Med

August 2025

Department of Diagnostic Radiology, Li Ka Shing Faculty of Medicine, The University of Hong Kong, Hong Kong, China.

Purpose: EPI is a fast acquisition sequence, but suffers from geometric distortion because of B field inhomogeneity. This study aims to evaluate the effectiveness of using ΔB map generated from single-shot CEST-EPI to achieve distortion self-correction (DISC).

Methods: CEST MRI usually requires B correction during postprocessing, and the ΔB map can be calculated directly from Z-spectra without extra scan.
