Acute liver injury (ALI), induced by an imbalance of pro-inflammatory and anti-inflammatory processes, remains a major concern for disease detection and drug screening. However, current clinical blood tests for ALI diagnostics are limited by delayed estimation, invasive and non-comprehensive visualization and false results from non-specific biomarkers. Moreover, it is difficult to give timely therapy to inhibit its progression and adjust treatment regimens in time. Herein, this study developed a facile theragnostic nano-platform (BLD NP) for effective treatment and real-time imaging of acute liver injury (ALI). BLD NPs comprise peptide-caged NIR probes (CyGb) for real-time imaging and a small molecular drug (dexamethasone sodium phosphate, Dsp) for timely treatment of ALI, in which CyGb was conjugated and Dsp was electrostatically complexed with fluorinated polyethylene (LPOF), respectively. After systemic administration, BLD NPs passively target liver tissue and react with ALI-associated protease to activate the NIR signaling moiety for non-invasive longitudinal imaging of ALI progression, while Dsp is released timely for ALI treatments, serving as a theragnostic platform and providing comprehensive estimations for ALI, comparable to standard methods including blood tests and flow cytometric analysis. Therefore, BLD NPs hold great promise for early real-time imaging, timely therapeutic treatment and prediction of the progression of ALI.

Background: Virtual reality (VR) and artificial intelligence (AI) technologies have advanced significantly over the past few decades, expanding into various fields, including dental education.
Purpose: To comprehensively review the application of VR and AI technologies in dentistry training, focusing on their impact on cognitive load management and skill enhancement. This study systematically summarizes the existing literature by means of a scoping review to explore the effects of the application of these technologies and to explore future directions.

Purpose: This study aimed to evaluate the performance of ChatGPT (GPT-4o) in interpreting free-text breast magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) reports by assigning BI-RADS categories and recommending appropriate clinical management steps in the absence of explicitly stated BI-RADS classifications.
Methods: In this retrospective, single-center study, a total of 352 documented full-text breast MRI reports of at least one identifiable breast lesion with descriptive imaging findings between January 2024 and June 2025 were included in the study. Incomplete reports due to technical limitations, reports describing only normal findings, and MRI examinations performed at external institutions were excluded from the study.

Background: Zinc (Zn) and cadmium (Cd) ions are ubiquitous in industrial and daily life. Despite their critical impact on food safety and human health, current probes face significant limitations in simultaneously detecting both ions in complex food matrices.
Results: Herein, we successfully developed a pyrene-based FRET ratiometric fluorescent probe QP for the highly selective detection of Zn and Cd.

Background: Hexavalent chromium ions (Cr(VI)), a notorious toxic heavy metal pollutant with proven carcinogenicity, endangers human health and the environment. Meanwhile, l-ascorbic acid (L-AA), a vital biological antioxidant, has abnormal levels closely tied to various diseases. Developing efficient synchronous detection methods for these two key analytes is of great value in clinical and environmental monitoring.
