Article Abstract

We report an exceptional case of a spindle cell mesenchymal tumor with S100 and CD34 co-reactivity, which harbored a fusion. To the best of our knowledge, this is the second case of a spindle cell mesenchymal tumor with S100 and CD34 co-reactivity with this specific fusion. Remarkable is the presence of calcification and heterotopic ossification in the center of our lesion, a feature that, to our knowledge, has not been described yet in -rearranged spindle cell mesenchymal tumors.

Paclitaxel resistance is a major obstacle to achieving long-term remission in patients with triple-negative breast cancer (TNBC), and effective strategies to overcome drug resistance would have significant clinical impact. In this study, we established a paclitaxel-resistant cell clone, T50R, from the human TNBC cell line MDA-MD-231. Intriguingly, these drug-resistant T50R cells required paclitaxel for proliferation.

Clinicopathological features of dermal clear cell sarcoma: A series of 13 cases.

Pathol Res Pract

September 2025

Department of Pathology, Xijing Hospital and School of Basic Medicine, Fourth Military Medical University, Xi'an, China. Electronic address:

Background: Dermal clear cell sarcoma (DCCS) is a rare malignant mesenchymal neoplasm. Owing to the overlaps in its morphological and immunophenotypic profiles with a broad spectrum of tumors exhibiting melanocytic differentiation, it is frequently misdiagnosed as other tumor entities in clinical practice. By systematically analyzing the clinicopathological characteristics, immunophenotypic features, and molecular biological properties of DCCS, this study intends to further enhance pathologists' understanding of this disease and provide a valuable reference for its accurate diagnosis.

An extensive body of literature describes THC's impact on sperm, however no such studies have determined its effects on the oocyte.
