The literature shows that migration characteristics are a potential pathway through which migration can influence basic healthcare service utilization. The goal of the study was to explore the effect of migration characteristics on the utilization of basic public health services for internal elderly migrants in China and to identify the pathways that might promote their utilization of basic public health services. We studied 1,544 internal elderly migrants. The utilization of basic public health services was determined through participation in free health checkups organized by community health service institutions in the past year. Migration characteristics were represented by years of residence and reasons for migration. Other variables included demographic characteristics and social factors, e.g., the number of local friends and exercise time per day were measured to represent social contacts. Multivariate binary logistic regression was employed to explore the association of the variables with the likelihood of using community health services. A total of 55.6% of respondents were men, and the mean age was 66.34 years (SD 5.94). A low level of education was observed. A total of 59.9% of migrants had been residents for over 10 years, and the main reason for migrating was related to family. Of these migrants, 12.9% had no local friends. Furthermore, 5.2% did not exercise every day. Social contacts were complete mediators of the impact of migration characteristics on the utilization of primary healthcare. Our study highlighted the mediating role of social factors in the relationship between migration characteristics and the utilization of basic public health services among Chinese internal elderly migrants. The findings supported the need to increase the opportunities for social contacts between local elderly individuals and internal elderly migrants.

Herein, we have developed a Brønsted acid catalyzed 1,5-migration of functional groups from indole-tethered ynamides to prepare a variety of 2-acyltryptamines in good to excellent yields with high site-selectivity at the C2-position of indoles. Mechanistic studies revealed that the reaction underwent an intramolecular cyclization, 1,2-migration of the vinyl group, and C-N bond cleavage by hydrolysis in a one pot. The reaction features broad substrate scope, good functional group compatibility, 1,5-migration of functional groups, C-N bond cleavage to form C-C bond, and diverse 2-acyltryptamine scaffolds.

Background: The roles of long non-coding RNAs (lncRNAs) in the progression of various human tumors have been extensively studied. However, their specific mechanisms and therapeutic potential in Triple-Negative Breast Cancer (TNBC) remain to be fully elucidated.
Materials And Methods: The qRT-PCR assay was utilized to assess the relative mRNA levels of TFAP2A-AS1, PHGDH, and miR-6892.

To analyse the issues of high muzzle flame intensity and the easy migration of insensitive agents in conventional insensitive propellants, this study synthesizes modified nitrocellulose grafted with carboxymethyl potassium groups by a two-step process, starting from the molecular structure of nitrocellulose (NC), the principal component of propellants. First, the denitration reaction was performed to reduce part of the nitrate ester groups on the surface of NC to hydroxyl groups, followed by an etherification reaction to achieve directional grafting of carboxymethyl potassium groups. Compared with conventional flame retardant/insensitive systems based on nitrogen, phosphorus, or DBP (dibutyl phthalate), potassium-based functional groups exhibit superior thermal stability and environmental friendliness.

Double homeobox A pseudogene 9 (DUXAP9), also known as long intergenic non-coding RNA 1296 (LINC01296) and lymph node metastasis-associated transcript 1 (LNMAT1), is an emerging lncRNA encoded by a pseudogene. It has been reported to be upregulated in various tumor types and functions as an oncogenic factor. The high expression of DUXAP9 is closely related to clinical pathological features and poor prognosis in 16 types of malignant tumors.

Introduction: Benchtop and animal models have traditionally been used to study the propagation of Onyx Liquid Embolic Systems (Onyx) used in the treatment of brain arteriovenous malformations (AVM). However, such models are costly, do not provide sufficient detail to elucidate how variations in Onyx viscosity alter flow dynamics, and rely on some trial-and-error, resulting in elongated timelines for product development.
Objectives: The goal of this study was to leverage Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) simulations to predict the behavior of different Onyx formulations.
