We would like to invite paediatric intensive care units (PICU) to join our multi-center trial concerning patient population < 12 y/o and aiming at: • validation of computed tomography angiography (CTA)/computed tomography perfusion (CTP) tests for brain death/death by neurological criteria (BD/DNC) diagnosis procedures, • validation of duplex Doppler insonation of extracranial segments of the internal cerebral arteries and the vertebral arteries for choosing an optimal time for CTA/CTP testing.

Background: Despite the Coronary Artery Reporting and Data System (CAD-RADS) providing a standardized approach, radiologists continue to favor free-text reports. This preference creates significant challenges for data extraction and analysis in longitudinal studies, potentially limiting large-scale research and quality assessment initiatives.
Objective: To evaluate the ability of the generative pre-trained transformer (GPT)-4o model to convert real-world coronary computed tomography angiography (CCTA) free-text reports into structured data and automatically identify CAD-RADS categories and P categories.

Background: Pheochromocytomas and paragangliomas (PPGLs) are rare catecholamine-secreting neuroendocrine tumors originating from the embryonic neural crest. Approximately 30% of PPGLs are hereditary and are frequently associated with genetic syndromes, including neurofibromatosis type 1 (NF1). Composite PPGLs, which include components of both PPGLs and related tumors such as ganglioneuromas, are extremely rare in NF1 patients.

Salivary duct carcinoma (SDC) is a rare high-grade parotid malignancy prone to perineural spread. However, perineural spread of SDC has rarely been reported. The case of a 46-year-old male with SDC spread along the facial nerve (FN) is presented here.

The aim of this in-vitro study was to verify which field of view (FOV) in cone-beam computed tomography (CBCT) yields greater accuracy in the detection of internal root resorption (IRR) volume, in comparison to the gold standard of micro-computed tomography (micro-CT) and to a physical method. Twenty-five extractedsingle-rooted teeth were scanned by CBCT with two different FOV parameters (6x6-FOV and 10x10-FOV) and via micro-CT. The volume of dental hard tissue was measured on these images.

Low dose computed tomography (LDCT) imaging obtained for other clinical indications is useful for the opportunistic screening of osteoporosis and demonstrates additional potential for the screening of metabolic risk through the measurement of visceral adipose tissue. In this study, we explored LDCT-derived VAT and calculated VAT thresholds indicative of elevated metabolic risk in a population cohort of Chinese men and women.
