Painting comes from the desire to create through movement and color a non-existent image, making it real. To create a new pictorial composition, a close harmony between the creative process and the motor act is necessary. The technique represents the ability to generate motor actions and to interpret the "language" of colors and shapes.

Background: Although magnification is an advantage of robotic liver resection (RLR) as it enables precise surgery, the direction of parenchymal dissection, the vascular anatomy, and the tumor location can sometimes be lost. Extended reality (XR) has advantages over other navigation systems in terms of spatial awareness, sharing, and simplicity, and it also has the potential to overcome some of the limitations of RLR. METHODS: In this video, we demonstrate innovative RLR with XR by three separate surgeons.

Obesity is closely linked to an increased incidence of several gynecological conditions and poses significant challenges to their surgical management. Among these, endometrial cancer stands out due to its high prevalence in patients with elevated body mass index, with nearly 60% of those requiring primary surgical treatment classified as obese or morbidly obese. The coexistence of multiple comorbidities in this population contributes to a heightened risk of perioperative and postoperative complications.

Background: Obesity is associated with increased risk of conversion to open surgery, which in turn is associated with worse postoperative outcomes. We hypothesize that, with its improved ergonomics and instrument dexterity, the robotic approach to right colectomy will be associated with a decreased risk of conversion to open compared to laparoscopic right colectomy.
Methods: Obese adults (BMI ≥30kg/m) undergoing elective laparoscopic (LRC) or robotic (RRC) right colectomy for colon adenocarcinoma (2015-2022) were identified from the American College of Surgeons National Surgical Quality Improvement Program and its colectomy-targeted participant use file.

Technological innovations in robot-assisted ultrasound (RAUS) have remarkably advanced the development of precision and intelligent medical imaging diagnosis. This study aims to use bibliometric methods to systematically analyze the technological evolution and research frontiers in the RAUS field, providing valuable insights for future research. This study used the Web of Science Core Collection database to retrieve English-language research papers and reviews related to RAUS published between 2000 and 2024.
