A patient undergoing orthodontic treatment presented with multiple recession defects in maxillary anterior region. After thorough clinical examination and assessment, measurements were recorded. Maxillary anterior teeth with recession defects of 3-4 mm were treated with coronally advanced flap and platelet-rich fibrin (PRF) membrane. Regular follow-up was maintained for the patient at 3, 6 , 12, 18, 24, 30, and 36 months. After 36 months, significant root coverage of 100 percent was observed in four defects and 50% coverage in one defect. This shows that PRF membrane along with coronally advanced provides a predictable and significant result for management of recession defects.

We report a rare case of restrictive strabismus in a pediatric patient who was initially misdiagnosed with Duane retraction syndrome (DRS) because she had large-angle exotropia, restricted adduction, globe retraction, narrowing of the palpebral fissure, and downshoot on attempted adduction. Notably, the parents first observed strabismus at 12 months of age, with photographs taken before 6 months of age revealing no ocular misalignment. Despite the absence of typical inflammatory signs, the temporal discrepancy, characterized by delayed onset inconsistent with congenital DRS, prompted further investigation.

Background: The aim of this study was to investigate the clinical effect of Nd:YAG laser-assisted non-surgical periodontal treatment on patients with stage II/III periodontitis.
Methods: A total of 599 teeth from 22 patients with stage II/III periodontitis were included in this study. A split-mouth design randomly assigned one side to the laser group (subgingival instrumentation + Nd:YAG laser) and the other to the control group (subgingival instrumentation alone).

Purpose: To analyze the aesthetic and functional results of a dual-flap reconstruction protocol for nail expansion by recessing the nail fold to increase the exposed nail matrix after repair of finger pulp defect.
Methods: A total of 18 patients who underwent a dual-flap reconstruction protocol were retrospectively reviewed. We increased nail bed exposure by recessing a Y-V flap of eponychium and reconstructed the pulp with volar V-Y advancement flaps or homodigital island flaps depending on the injury geometry.
