Article Abstract

CYP450 plays an essential role in the development and growth of the fruits of . However, little is known about the gene in . Here, based on transcriptome data, a full-length cDNA sequence of was cloned by reverse transcriptase-polymerase chain reaction (RT-PCR) and rapid-amplification of cDNA ends (RACE) strategies. is 1677 bp in length (GenBank accession No. AEM42985.1) and contains a complete open reading frame (ORF) of 1422 bp. The deduced protein was composed of 473 amino acids, the molecular weight is 54.01 kDa, the theoretical isoelectric point (PI) is 8.8, and the protein was predicted to possess cytochrome P450 domains. gene was highly expressed in root, diploid fruit and fruit treated with hormone and pollination. At 10 days after treatment with pollination and hormones, the expression of Sg had the highest level and then decreased over time, which was consistent with the development of fruits of . Hormonal treatment could significantly induce the expression of . These results provide a reference for regulation of fruit development and the use of parthenocarpy to generate seedless fruit, and provide a scientific basis for the production of growth regulator application agents.

Modular cloning systems streamline laboratory workflows by consolidating genetic 'parts' into reusable and modular collections, enabling researchers to fast-track strain construction. The GoldenBraid 2.0 modular cloning system utilizes the cutting property of type IIS restriction enzymes to create defined genetic 'grammars', which facilitate the reuse of standardized genetic parts and assembly of genetic parts in the right order.

Development of a reverse genetics system for West Nile virus (Kunjin type).

Front Vet Sci

August 2025

Institute of Veterinary Medicine and Immunology, Sichuan Agricultural University, Chengdu, Sichuan, China.

Kunjin virus (KUNV), a naturally attenuated strain of West Nile virus (WNV), shares similar transmission modes and hosts-primarily mosquitoes, birds, and horses. Globally, reverse genetics is the principal methodology for characterizing the molecular etiology of flaviviruses. In this study, cytomegalovirus (CMV) promoter-driven KUNV reporter replicons were engineered to incorporate three distinct reporter genes: Nanoluc, oxGFP, and mCherry.

Background: Recombinant human thrombopoietin (rhTPO) regulates platelet production by promoting megakaryocyte proliferation and has shown promising therapeutic effects in hematopoietic recovery for severe aplastic anemia (SAA). However, its potential impact on immune cells remains unclear.

Methods: This study included 23 patients with SAA, who were divided into two groups based on whether they received rhTPO.

Joint International Research Laboratory of Agriculture and Agri-Product Safety of Ministry of Education of China, Yangzhou University, China.

Primordial germ cells (PGCs) are the progenitor cells of sperm and eggs. Xenotransplantation of chicken PGCs can achieve germline transmission. However, there are still challenges in obtaining many PGCs from endangered birds in vitro.

Breast cancer is a highly heterogeneous disease with diverse outcomes, and intra-tumoral heterogeneity plays a significant role in both diagnosis and treatment. Despite its importance, the spatial distribution of intra-tumoral heterogeneity is not fully elucidated. Spatial transcriptomics has emerged as a promising tool to study the molecular mechanisms behind many diseases.
