Trinitromethyl-substituted aminotetrazoles with -NH₂, -NO₂, -N₃, and -NHC(NO₂)₃ groups were investigated at the B3LYP/6-31G(d) level of density functional theory. Their sublimation enthalpies, thermodynamic properties, and heats of formation were calculated. The thermodynamic properties of these compounds increase with temperature as well as with the number of nitro groups attached to the tetrazole ring. In addition, the detonation velocities and detonation pressures of these compounds were successfully predicted using the Kamlet-Jacobs equations. It was found that these compounds exhibit good detonation properties, and that compound G (D = 9.2 km/s, P = 38.8 GPa) has the most powerful detonation properties, which are similar to those of the well-known explosive HMX (1,3,5,7-tetranitro-1,3,5,7-tetrazocine). Finally, the electronic structures and bond dissociation energies of these compounds were calculated. The BDEs of their C-NO₂ bonds were found to range from 101.9 to 125.8 kJ/mol(-1). All of these results should provide useful fundamental information for the design of novel HEDMs.

Biomolecular dynamics in the microsecond-to-millisecond (µs-ms) timescale are linked to various biological functions, such as enzyme catalysis, allosteric regulation, and ligand recognition. In solution state NMR, Carr-Purcell-Meiboom-Gill (CPMG) relaxation dispersion experiments are commonly used to probe µs-ms timescale motions, providing detailed kinetic, thermodynamic, and mechanistic information at the atomic level. For investigating conformational dynamics in high-molecular-weight biomolecules, methyl groups serve as ideal probes due to their favorable relaxation properties, and C CPMG relaxation dispersion is widely employed for characterizing dynamics in selectively CH-labeled samples.

Lipid nanocapsules (LNCs) are an emerging nanocarrier platform for cancer therapy as they can co-deliver multiple drugs, promote synergistic action, and provide targeted drug delivery. The phase inversion temperature (PIT) process is most used for LNC formulation, which has the advantage of process simplicity, thermodynamic stability, and the employment of non-toxic solvents without requiring high energy input. Surface functionalization with targeting ligands like folic acid and peptides increases tumor specificity and reduces off-target toxicity.

Sulfide solid electrolytes (SEs) exhibit excellent ionic conductivity and good mechanical properties, but their poor air stability and solid-solid contact performance seriously hinder the wide application of sulfide all-solid-state batteries (ASSBs). Herein, this paper reviews the history and the major breakthroughs in the development of sulfide SEs. The theories of hard-soft-acid-base theory and glass structure theory, as well as several strategies to improve the chemical stability of sulfide SEs, are discussed emphatically.

This study compared the effects of phosphorylated modified long-chain inulin (PF) with low (PF1), medium (PF3), and high (PF6) degrees of substitution on the rheological, thermal, gluten network depolymerization characteristics, and microstructure of unfrozen and frozen dough. The results showed that PF increased G', G", Tp, and ΔH of unfrozen and frozen dough. Gluten protein analysis revealed that PF significantly increased the SS and α-helix content in gluten, with 3 %FPF3 showing an 11.
