Background: This study aims to build a machine learning (ML) model to predict the deterioration of neurological symptoms in Wilson's disease (WD) patients during short-term anti-copper therapy. The model combines brain T1WI MRI radiomics with clinical features and employs SHapley Additive exPlanations (SHAP) to interpret the contributions of the features.
Methods: Automated segmentation techniques were used to delineate regions of interest (ROI) in routine brain T1WI MRI scans from 107 WD cases.

Objective: Patients with rheumatoid arthritis (RA) have a much higher prevalence of cardiac dysfunction, which explains the high mortality rate in RA patients despite treatment with anti-arthritic drugs. This study elucidates a molecular mechanism that causes abnormal activation of cardiac fibroblasts in the inflammatory state of RA through transactivation of canonical TLR4 signaling by GRK2-dependent signaling mechanisms, and which ultimately induces heart disease.
Methods And Results: Collagen-induced arthritis (CIA) models were established in mice, and the cardiac function in these CIA mice was dynamically examined using echocardiography.
Studies have found that electroacupuncture (EA) can improve the neurocognitive function of cerebral small vessel disease (CSVD), restore cerebral blood flow, and protect neurovascular units. The occurrence and development of cerebral microvascular disease is highly related to neurovascular unit injury. Objectives: Wilson's disease is an autosomal recessive disorder related to copper metabolism which mostly patients occurs in adolescents, fertility has become a problem that WD needs to face.
Methods: A 21 years retrospective follow up study was conducted and a total of 220 female patients were included to identify patients with outcomes of pregnancy.
Results: Untreated female patients with WD had a spontaneous abortion rate of 44%.

Aim: The aim of this study was to explore the relationship between peripheral circulating serum soluble suppression of tumorigenicity-2 (sST2) levels and inflammatory biomarkers in patients with acute heart failure (AHF).
Methods: One hundred and eleven consecutive AHF patients with NYHA class II-IV were enrolled, and peripheral blood was collected within 24 h of admission for the detection of NT-ProBNP, sST2, hypersensitive troponin I, cytokines, precalcitoninogen, C-reactive protein, in addition to routine standard of care blood tests.
Results: The median sST2 of 111 patients was 47.
