Conventional electrochemical biosensors used for biomarker detection in complex biofluids often suffer from reduced sensitivity and accuracy due to nonspecific molecular adsorption and bacterial interference. To overcome these limitations, it is essential to design biosensors that combine antifouling and antibacterial functionalities. Herein, a multifunctional branched peptide (MBP) was designed and used to construct electrochemical biosensor for human epidermal growth factor receptor 2 (HER2) detection in complex biofluids.

Contrast enhancement (CE) on immediate post-EVT non-contrast CT (NCCT) may reflect blood-brain barrier disruption, but its volumetric correlation with sICH and functional independence remains underexplored.
Methods: We performed a retrospective screening on consecutive AIS-LVO patients who had CE on NCCT immediately within 2 h after EVT.
Background And Objectives: Although several large clinical trials have shown that endovascular treatment (EVT) is beneficial for patients with large core infarction, their outcomes were still much worse than those with mild infarction. Therefore, given the cerebral collateral recycle (CCR) as an effective prognostic marker, this study explored the relationship between CCR and clinical outcomes in patients with large ischemic infarct.
Methods: We conducted a retrospective multicenter cohort study of patients with acute ischemic stroke due to large vessel occlusion (AIS-LVO).
Purpose: Although the predictive role of cerebral tissue impairment has been extensively investigated in acute ischemic stroke (AIS) patients undergoing endovascular treatment (EVT) in the late window, the impact of peripheral organs on clinical outcomes in these patients remains largely unknown. Therefore, we aimed to explore whether frailty, a reflection of the patient's physical status based on peripheral organ health at admission, could be associated with outcomes among AIS patients treated by EVT in the late window of 6-24 hours from stroke onset.
Patients And Methods: This was a post-hoc analysis of our RESCUE-BT trial, with findings validated in an external cohort.
Grain size is vital determinant for grain yield and quality, which specified by its three-dimensional structure of seeds (length, width and thickness). The ZINC FINGER-HOMEODOMAIN (ZHD) proteins play critical roles in plant growth and development. However, the information regarding the function in reproductive development of ZHD proteins is scarce.

Previous studies suggested arterial collateral was an important predictor of this phenomenon. However, cerebral collateral circulation was regulated by arteries, venous, and microcirculation, and its role remained unclear.

Objective: To assess the efficacy and adverse events of adjunctive intra-arterial tenecteplase in patients with large vessel occlusion stroke who had achieved near-complete to complete reperfusion (defined as a score on the expanded Thrombolysis in Cerebral Infarction [eTICI] scale of 2c to 3) after EVT.
Design, Setting, And Participants: Investigator-initiated, randomized, open-label, blinded outcome assessment trial implemented at 34 hospitals in China among 540 patients with stroke due to proximal intracranial large vessel occlusion within 24 hours of the time they were last known to be well, with an eTICI score of 2c to 3 after EVT, and without prior intravenous thrombolysis.
Rationale And Objectives: The correlation between collateral circulation and futile recanalization (FR) is still controversial, and few studies have explored the influence of comprehensive cerebral collateral circulation on FR after endovascular stroke treatment. Therefore, based on cerebral collateral recycle (CCR) status, we aimed to establish an effective scoring system to identify the probability of FR.
Methods: This was a multicenter retrospective cohort study.

Multi-relational graph learning aims to embed entities and relations in knowledge graphs into low-dimensional representations, which has been successfully applied to various multi-relationship prediction tasks, such as information retrieval, question answering, and etc. Recently, contrastive learning has shown remarkable performance in multi-relational graph learning by data augmentation mechanisms to deal with highly sparse data. In this paper, we present a Multi-Relational Graph Contrastive Learning architecture (MRGCL) for multi-relational graph learning.

Developing blast-resistant rice cultivars represents the most economical and environmentally friend strategy for managing the disease. In our previous study, an isobaric tags for relative and absolute quantitation (iTRAQ)-based comparative protein quantification was carried out to investigate the resistance gene Piz-t gene-mediated resistance response to infection in two contrasting rice genotypes of the Piz-t transgenic Nipponbare line (NPB-Piz-t) and its wild-type Nipponbare (NPB).

Substantial uncertainties remain about the relationship between the spatial location of CE and symptomatic intracranial hemorrhage (sICH). Therefore, this study aimed to evaluate this association.

Background: Inflammatory bowel disease (IBD) is a chronic inflammatory disease of the digestive tract. The aetiology and pathogenesis of IBD are complex, which may lead to metabolic disorders. As a kind of metabolite, polyunsaturated fatty acid (PUFA) is closely related to IBD.

Determining biodiversity responses to environmental change, such as acidification, is critical for ecosystem projections under future global change scenarios. Here, we analyzed three plankton communities of phytoplankton, crustaceans and rotifers in 28 lakes in the Adirondack Park, USA, during 1994-2012, and examined the spatiotemporal trends in their alpha and beta diversity during recovery from acidification. For all plankton assemblages, Shannon diversity increased towards recent years and high lake pH, and there was an increasing community dissimilarity with pH changes.

With improvements in cybersecurity awareness, users increasingly choose different usernames and provide different profiles on different SMNs. Thus, it is becoming increasingly challenging to determine whether given accounts on different SMNs belong to the same user; this can be expressed as an interlayer link prediction problem in a multiplex network.

The SEM, XRD, FTIR, and XPS results showed that CASA contains many spherical particles and functional groups such as NH, CO, and HSO. The adsorption experiments revealed that CASA presented excellent adsorption performance for Cr(III) (274.
