Grape (Vitis vinifera) is susceptible to fungal pathogens and, consequently, severe yield losses. Investigating the immune mechanisms of the disease-resistant Chinese wild grapes is crucial for developing sustainable disease resistance technologies. Here, we conducted whole-transcriptome and methylated-RNA-immunoprecipitation sequencing to elucidate the immune defence mechanisms underlying grapevine responses to bacterial flagellin 22 (flg22).

Existing deep clustering methods leverage contrastive or non-contrastive learning to facilitate downstream tasks. Most contrastive-based methods typically learn representations by comparing positive pairs (two views of the same sample) against negative pairs (views of different samples). However, we spot that this hard treatment of samples ignores inter-sample relationships, leading to class collisions and degrade clustering performances.

Mast cells (MCs) are therapeutic targets for high-affinity IgE Fc receptors (FcεRI)-mediated allergic responses. Deubiquitinating enzymes (DUBs), including ubiquitin-specific protease 13 (USP13), are involved in multiple inflammatory processes. This study aims to reveal USP13's role in FcεRI-mediated MC activation and its underlying mechanisms.

Fuzzy C-Means algorithm (FCM) is one of the most commonly used fuzzy clustering algorithm, which uses the alternating optimization algorithm to update the membership matrix and the cluster center matrix. FCM achieves effective results in clustering tasks. However, due to many constraints, the objective function is inconvenient to optimize directly and is prone to converges to a suboptimal local minimum, which affects the clustering performance.

As significant phytoalexins, stilbene compounds can improve the stress resistance of grapes under biotic and abiotic stress conditions and have biological effects such as antitumour, antioxidant, immune regulation and cardiovascular protection activities in humans. RESVERATROL SYNTHASE (RS), also known as STILBENE SYNTHASE (STS), is the critical enzyme regulating stilbene synthesis and has been identified in a few plant species. However, the regulatory mechanisms of stilbene synthesis are uncertain.

Agar oligosaccharide (AOS) is a new kind of marine functional oligosaccharide with generous biological activities. To investigate the antioxidative effects of AOS in vivo, 3 % aqueous hydrogen peroxide (HO) was used to induce oxidative stress in male Drosophila melanogaster (D. melanogaster) fed 5 % sucrose (SUC).
