In recent years, flexible sensor devices have demonstrated significant potential for applications in basic science, healthcare, and health monitoring. Fiber-based sensing devices have garnered considerable attention due to their high performance, wearing comfort, potential for mass production, and broad range of applications. Material and structure are the two primary factors that influence the performance of fiber sensor devices.

However, Ti's strong affinity for oxygen often leads to Ti-MOFs being fully coordinated with ligands, which limits their catalytic and separation performance. Defect engineering provides an effective strategy to enhance the functionality of MOFs by introducing structural imperfections.

In this study, we investigated the impact of antibody class switching on neutralization efficacy by engineering recombinant antibodies of different isotypes (IgA1, IgG1) with identical variable regions from SARS-CoV-2 convalescent patients. A potent, broad-spectrum neutralizing monoclonal antibody CAV-C65 exhibited a ten-fold increase in neutralization potency upon switching from IgG1 to IgA1 monomer.

In the late stages of AD, metal ion disorders and an imbalance of reactive oxygen species (ROS) levels occur in the brain microenvironment, which causes abnormal aggregation of β-amyloid (Aβ), leading to a significant worsening of the AD symptoms. Therefore, we designed a composite nanomaterial of macrophage membranes-encapsulated Prussian blue nanoparticles (PB NPs/MM).

Combining near-earth remote sensing spectral imaging technology with unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) remote sensing sensing technology, we measured the Ningqi No. 10 goji variety under conditions of health, infestation by psyllids, and infestation by gall mites in Shizuishan City, Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region. The results indicate that the red and near-infrared spectral bands are particularly sensitive for detecting pest and disease conditions in goji.

Metal ion imbalance and Mitochondrial dysfunction, leading to abnormal aggregation of β-amyloid protein (Aβ), are key factors in the pathogenesis of AD. Therefore, we designed a composite nanometer system of red blood cell (RBC) membranes-encapsulated Prussian blue nanoparticles (PB/RBC).

Accelerating the promotion of high-quality development of tourism (HQDT) is of great significance to the sustainable development of tourism. This paper defined the concept of HQDT, and then built an evaluation system for HQDT measurement to analyze the spatio-temporal evolution characteristics of China's HQDT based on provincial panel data from 2010 to 2019, using Geodetector to explore the similarities and differences between driving factors of HQDT and tourism development scale (TDS). The results show that: 1) Taking the development concepts of innovation, coordination, green, openness and sharing as the guidance, and considering the organic unity of quantity and quality, the evaluation index system of the HQDT consists of six dimensions of economic stability, innovation driving, coordination and linkage, green and sustainability, openness and cooperation, and sharing and harmony, which respectively represent the basis, momentum, means, orientation, direction and purpose of the HQDT; 2) The level of China's HQDT shows an upward trend, presenting the characteristics of eastern region > central region > western region > northeastern region in 2019.

In this work, molybdenum disulfide (MoS) nanosheets were selected as the base material and a natural red blood cell membrane (RBC membrane) was camouflaged on the nanosheets to enhance their dispersibility and tumor targeting profile. The camouflaged molybdenum disulfide nanocomposites (MoS-RBC) were successfully prepared by incubation.

Background: Longitudinal studies of children with disruptive disorders (DDs) have shown high rates of antisocial personality disorder (ASPD) and substance use in adulthood, but few have examined the contribution of parental disorders. We examine child-/adulthood outcomes of DDs in offspring, whose biological parents did not have a history of ASPD, bipolar disorder, or substance use disorders.
Method: Offspring (N = 267) of parents with or without major depression (MDD), but no ASPD or bipolar disorders were followed longitudinally over 33 years, and associations between DDs and psychiatric and functional outcomes were tested.

March 2017
Rationale: Possible genetic correlates of spirituality and depression have been identified in community samples. We investigate some of the previously identified candidates in a sample of families at both high and low-risk for depression.
Method: Offspring and grandchildren of individuals at high and low-risk for depression, participating in a multi-wave thirty-year longitudinal study, were assessed for seven SNPS drawn from four single gene candidates associated with systems implicated in both depression and spirituality: Serotonin (5-HT1B and 5-HT2A), Dopamine (DRD2), Oxytocin (OT) and Monoamine Vesicular Transporter (VMAT1).
