Background: Respiratory syncytial virus (RSV) can cause acute respiratory infection (ARI) and severe symptoms in older adults. The adjuvanted RSV prefusion F protein vaccine (adjuvanted RSVPreF3) offers protection to adults against RSV ARI and RSV lower respiratory tract disease (LRTD). We modeled the RSV burden and the public health impact of RSV vaccination in adults ≥60 years in six Latin American countries.

We modeled the burden of RSV and the potential public health impact of RSV vaccination in adults ≥60 years in nine countries of the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region.
Research Design And Methods: A Markov model was adapted to the settings of Bahrain, Egypt, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Morocco, Oman, Qatar, Turkey, and the United Arab Emirates.

Two pneumococcal polysaccharide conjugate vaccines (PCV), the 13-valent PCV13 and 10-valent PHiD-CV, are included in the Philippines' National Formulary and implemented in the national immunisation programme. Recently, a new 10-valent PCV (PCV10-SII) has received World Health Organization prequalification status.

Tea is an important economic product in China, and tea picking is a key agricultural activity. As the practice of tea picking in China gradually shifts towards intelligent and mechanized methods, artificial intelligence recognition technology has become a crucial tool, showing great potential in recognizing large-scale tea picking operations and various picking behaviors. Constructing a comprehensive database is essential for these advancements.

In this research, based on the concept of " combination of medicine and adjuvant, " the unsuitable stabilizer in Lingzhu powder prescription was modified with a SiO surface to become a stabilizer suitable for Pickering emulsion. The modified was synthesized, with a focus on exploring the surface modification of to facilitate its role as a stabilizer in Pickering emulsion.

However, the prognosis of patients undergoing this procedure and the factors affecting prognosis remain to be clarified. The aim of this study was to analyze the prognostic factors of non-traumatic and non-diabetic retinopathy complicated by vitreous hemorrhage.

However, the disease burden of HZ in Southeast Asia may be underestimated. This study aimed to estimate the public health burden of HZ and the impact of vaccinating adults aged ≥ 50 years old in five Southeast Asian countries (Indonesia, Malaysia, Philippines, Thailand, and Vietnam), with adjuvanted recombinant zoster vaccine (RZV) compared with no vaccination.

Scarce research has captured the transition of aggressor and victim roles during this period and examined associated factors. To investigate the stability and shifts of aggressor and victim roles following the transition to middle school, this study conducted latent transition analysis with 1261 Chinese adolescents (32.

Intestinal flora is closely related to health, and dysbiosis of intestinal flora, especially Bifidobacteria, has been found in a variety of diseases. Numerous studies have shown that in addition to maintaining intestinal homeostasis, Bifidobacteria may be involved in diseases covering all parts of the body, including the nervous system, respiratory system, genitourinary system and so on.

The model followed individuals aged ≥50 years from administration of RZV over their remaining lifetime. Inputs were based, most often, on local data.

Methods: To evaluate the pregnancy parameters for 249 patients with ≥2 implantation failures and pNK cell proportion ≥12% by analyzing a retrospective observational cohort study. Sixty patients had received the co-administration TAC and LMWH (TAC & LMWH group), 85 others had only taken LMWH (LWMH group), and the rest did not take any particular drugs (control group).
Aim: To evaluate the cost-utility of iStent with cataract surgery cataract surgery alone in patients with mild-to-moderate primary open angle glaucoma (POAG) in the Japanese setting from a public payer's perspective.
Methods: A Markov model was adapted to estimate the cost-utility of iStent plus cataract surgery cataract surgery alone in one eye in patients with mild-to-moderate POAG over lifetime horizon from the perspective of Japanese public payer. Japanese sources were used for patients' characteristics, clinical data, utility, and costs whenever available.

Coronavirus 2019 (COVID-19) has caused significant disruption to the cell and gene therapy (CGT) industry, which has historically faced substantial complexities in supply of materials, and manufacturing and logistics processes. As decision-makers shifted their priorities to COVID-19-related issues, the challenges in market authorisation, and price and reimbursement of CGTs were amplified. Nevertheless, it is encouraging to see that some CGT developers are adapting their efforts toward the development of promising COVID-19-related therapeutics and vaccines.

Although the treatment of chronic hepatitis C (CHC) has significantly evolved with the introduction of direct-acting antivirals, the treatment uptake rates have been low especially among marginalized groups in the UK, such as people who inject drug (PWID) and men who have sex with men (MSM). Cutting health inequality is a major focus of healthcare agencies. This study aims to identify the optimal allocation of treatment budget for chronic hepatitis CHC among populations and treatments in the UK so that liver-related mortality in patients with CHC is minimized, given the constraint of treatment budget and equity issue.

Traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) therapy, including acupuncture (ACU), oral administration, and external use of traditional Chinese medicines (TCMs), can significantly improve the therapeutic effect on OA and reduce the occurrence of side effects. We provide a latest meta-analysis on the treatment of OA with TCM.
