Objective: To explore the genomic epidemiological characteristics of Salmonella in fruits, vegetables, and irrigation water in China.
Methods: A total of 410 samples of fruits, vegetables and irrigation water were collected from Hubei and Shaanxi Provinces from June to December 2022. Salmonella strains were detected and identified referenced in the United States Food and drug administration's bacteriological analytical manual.
As clinical serovar Thompson (. Thompson) emerged among the top ten prevalent serovars in China, understanding the distribution and origin of its multidrug-resistant (MDR) strains becomes imperative. This study employed antimicrobial susceptibility testing, whole-genome sequencing, and bioinformatics analysis to investigate the prevalence and genomic profiles of clinically important .

They play a crucial role in the global carbon cycle. Organic matter transformation and carbon turnover in TEPs strongly depend on the assembly of their associated bacterial communities and enzyme activity.

However, little is known about the function of GT in rice development. In this study, molecular analyses revealed that the expression of a rice GT gene (Cold-Upregulated Glycosyltransferase Gene 1, CUGT1) is developmentally controlled and stress-induced.
