Background: A few studies focus on the long-term outcomes and surveillance strategies for patients with hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) and microvascular invasion (MVI) who experience postoperative recurrence. The aim of this study was to explore the patterns and prognosis of early and late recurrence (ER and LR) after hepatectomy of such patients.
Methods: Consecutive patients with HCC and MVI after hepatectomy from 26 centers in China from 2009 to 2020 were included.

In vivo astrocyte-to-neuron (AtN) conversion induced by overexpression of neural transcriptional factors has great potential for neural regeneration and repair. Here, we demonstrate that a single neural transcriptional factor, Dlx2, converts mouse striatal astrocytes into neurons in a dose-dependent manner. Lineage-tracing studies in Aldh1l1-CreERT2 mice confirm that Dlx2 can convert striatal astrocytes into DARPP32 and Ctip2 medium spiny neurons (MSNs).

We conducted this study aimed to explore the effect of operating room nursing intervention on wound infection in patients undergoing ovarian cysts surgery. A computer system was used to search PubMed, Web of Science, EMBASE, Cochrane Library, Wanfang, Chinese Biomedical Literature Database, and China National Knowledge Infrastructure databases, from database inception to October 2023, for randomised controlled trials (RCTs) on the application of operating room nursing intervention to ovarian cyst surgery. Literature that met the requirements was independently screened by two researchers, and data were extracted and assessed for literature quality.

Lowering blood pressure is the most important treatment and maintaining a stable target blood pressure can reduce damage to organ functions and is beneficial to fetal growth.

The irradiance of powered polymerisation activators for chairside use affects composite resin adhesive curing during the restorative process, whereas radiant accumulated temperature rise relates to clinical safety. Irradiance reduction and high radiant accumulated temperature will compromise the treatment results as there is a lack of curing output efficacy and safety awareness for powered polymerisation activators. Insufficient attention has been paid to the activator's quality control, irradiance attenuation and radiant accumulated temperature excessive temperature rise during its lifetime.

Objective: The aim of this study was to investigate ErbB2 expression in osteochondroma and its relationship with clinicopathologic features of osteochondroma, so as to identify a new biomarker for the malignant transformation potential of osteochondroma.
Methods: Immunohistochemistry (IHC) and fluorescence in situ hybridization (FISH) were used to investigate the expression status of ErbB2 protein and gene in 30 osteochondroma tissues and 20 non-neoplastic bone tissues. The association of ErbB2 gene and protein expression with clinicopathological parameters of osteochondroma was analyzed by using the χ2 test and Fishers exact test.

Methods: The model was built using data from pregnant women (development cohort, n=566; validation cohort, n=314) who delivered at Shanghai Obstetrical Cardiology Intensive Care Center, Renji Hospital, Shanghai, between 2002 and 2015. Independent predictors of adverse cardiac events were determined by logistic regression.

Methods: A case-control study was conducted with 81 PE and 95 PCCN patients and 192 normal pregnancies from April 2016 to March 2018. The results of a 24 h proteinuria test and a proteinuria component analysis (PCA) of all enrolled patients were collected.

Using 4-[5-(1H-pyrazol-4-yl)-4H-[1,2,4]triazol-3-yl]-pyridine (L1) and 2-(3-carboxypyridin-2-yl) nicotinic acid (H2L2), two coordination polymers (CPs) formulated as [Cu(HL1)2(Mo8O26)]·5H2O (1) and [{Cu4(L2)4(H2O)6}(H3PMo12O40)]·7H2O (2) were hydrothermally synthesized and structurally characterized by single-crystal X-ray diffraction. The two CPs exhibit a 2D architecture, but strong interlayer π-π stacking interactions are only observed in the structure of CP 1. Diffuse reflectance spectroscopy (DRS) and DFT calculations reveal that CP 1 is a semiconductor with a narrow band gap of 1.
