Ethnopharmacological Relevance: Conventional Western treatments (CTs) for preeclampsia (PE) are often linked to serious side effects, such as higher rates of cesarean delivery and medically induced preterm birth. In contrast, recent clinical research has highlighted the potential of Chinese patent medicines (CPMs) as an effective alternative treatment. These studies show that CPMs may help lower blood pressure, reduce 24-h urinary protein levels, and improve pregnancy outcomes.

Objectives: To investigate the clinical characteristics of deep infiltrating endometriosis (DIE), summarize the experiences in its diagnosis and management, and identify potential peripheral blood indicators associated with the severity of pelvic adhesions.
Methods: Clinical data were collected from 185 patients with pathologically confirmed DIE admitted to Wuxi Maternal and Child Health Hospital between January 2015 and December 2024. A retrospective analysis was conducted on the general information, perioperative conditions, postoperative pregnancy outcomes, and recurrence status in patients with DIE.

Aqueous zinc-ion batteries (ZIBs) hold significant promise for next-generation energy storage due to their low cost and inherent safety, but their lifespan is limited by zinc dendrites and hydrogen evolution during the cycling. Herein, long lifespan ZIBs are achieved using a dual-functional separator with ultrathin (18 μm) and high mechanical strength (91 MPa). The abundant polar hydroxyl groups in the separator's structure repel free SO anions, accelerate the Zn ion transport, and modify the solvation structure of Zn(HO), ensuring uniform Zn ion flux and inhibiting zinc dendrite formation.

Background: HELLP (Hemolysis, elevated liver enzymes, and low platelets) syndrome is a dangerous obstetric condition that is in great need of simple and inexpensive non-invasive early predictors, but it has been poorly studied. This study was conducted to investigate the predictive role of serum gamma-glutamyl transpeptidase to platelet ratio (GPR) during pregnancy in HELLP syndrome and its adverse pregnancy outcomes.
Methods: This was a retrospective study in a tertiary hospital.
Ovarian cancer is a common malignant tumor in the female reproductive system. Paclitaxel resistance is the primary cause of treatment failure in patients with ovarian cancer. Therefore, elucidating the mechanisms by which ovarian cancer develops paclitaxel resistance is crucial for achieving better therapeutic outcomes.

Aqueous supercapacitors exhibit the advantage of high cycling stability, inherent safety and appealing energy density, and thus have long been considered an exceptional technology for efficient energy storage. However, in the absence of an electric field, the spontaneous transmembrane diffusion of ions leads to self-discharge or energy decay of supercapacitors. Herein, we propose a phase transformation strategy to design a porous regenerated cellulose and polyvinylidene difluoride composite separator with ion selectivity by utilizing cellulose dissolution regeneration with PVDF enhancement.

Based on the considerations of improving membrane performance and conversion to large-area industrial production, this work first proposes an easy-industrialized strategy to treat bacterial cellulose membranes by hot pressing and hot pressing with etherification modification, and then to obtain anion-selective and cation-selective membrane pairs (PBC-M and NBC-M) with opposite charges. The PBC-M obtained by multi-step treatment has excellent hydrophobicity, good surface charge density, and more favorable nanochannel size for the functioning of double layer.

Methods: A publicly available transcriptome data set comprising 587 EC cases was subjected to a comprehensive bioinformatics analysis to identify candidate genes responsible for EC occurrence and development.
Separators in supercapacitors (SCs) typically suffer from defects of low mechanical property, limited ion transport, and electrolyte wettability, and poor thermal stability, impeding the development of SCs. Herein, high-performance regenerated cellulose (RC) based separators are designed that are fabricated by effective hydrolytic etching of inorganic CaCO nanoparticles from a filled RC membrane. The as-prepared RC separator displays excellent comprehensive performances such as higher tensile strength (75.

However, its underlying therapeutic mechanisms are not yet fully elucidated. Based on our previous studies, we further investigated whether HBO therapy exerts neuroprotective effects in vivo by regulating the nuclear factor-kappa B (NF-κB)/ mitogen-activated protein kinases (MAPKs) chemokine (C-X-C motif) ligand (CXCL)1 inflammatory pathway.

Methods: Within this prospective study, 160 PCOS cases and 40 healthy women, matched by age and BMI, were included. In four groups (n = 40) according to the four phenotypes of PCOS by definition of the National Institute of Health (2012), AMH, ovarian volume and number of follicles 2-9 mm were assessed as well as insulin resistance indexes (Homeostatic Model Assessment) (HOMA-IR) and Quantitative Insulin Sensitivity Check Index (QUICKI).
Objectives: Aim was to evaluate anti-Müllerian-hormone (AMH) in women with polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS) comparing with normo-ovulatory women, and to assess for the first time AMH levels across reproductive lifespan in Chinese women.
Methods: Within the prospective cross-sectional study in PCOS cases and in normal subjects, AMH and other hormone levels were measured in early follicular phase in five age groups. Additionally ovarian ultrasound parameters were assessed.
