Background: The incidence of unstable angina (UA), a type of cardiovascular disease (CVD), has increased in recent years. Meanwhile, timely percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI) or percutaneous transluminal coronary angioplasty (PTCA) procedures are crucial for patients with UA who also have diabetes mellitus (DM). Additionally, exploring other factors that may influence the prognosis of these patients could provide long-term benefits.

Accurate imputation of missing data is crucial in the Industrial Internet-of-Things (IIoT), where operations are often compromised by noisy samples from harsh environments. Traditional imputation methods struggle with such noise due to their black-box nature or lack of adaptability. To address this issue, we recast data imputation as a distribution alignment challenge, utilizing the flexibility of optimal transport (OT) to handle noisy samples.

Undesired ice accumulation on infrastructure and transportation systems leads to catastrophic events and significant economic losses. Although various anti-icing surfaces with photothermal effects can initially prevent icing, any thawy droplets remaining on the horizontal surface can quickly re-freezing once the light diminishes. To address these challenges, we have developed a self-draining slippery surface (SDSS) that enables the thawy droplets to self-remove on the horizontal surface, thereby facilitating real-time anti-icing with the aid of sunlight (100 mW cm).

Obesity-associated obstructive sleep apnea (OSA) highlights the need for effective therapies. Hypothalamic endoplasmic reticulum (ER) stress contributes to leptin resistance in obesity. Although hesperidin (HE) modulates ER stress and oxidative pathways, its low bioavailability limits clinical use, its role in OSA is unknown.
