Descriptive Analysis of Resources Used to Learn About Residency Programs Since Transition to Virtual Interviews.

Introduction: The transition to virtual interviews over the past four years has been associated with changes to the ways that applicants collect information on residency programs.

Methods: Our program collected free-response data from questionnaires completed by applicants prior to their virtual interview days over the course of four recruitment cycles. We performed a descriptive analysis of these responses to identify the frequency with which students have been accessing various resources to learn about programs, and to learn how that has changed over time.

Cultural Adaptations to the Assessment and Treatment of Trauma Experiences Among Racial and Ethnic Minority Groups: A Mixed-Methods Systematic Review and Meta-Analysis.

A higher prevalence of post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) exists among racial and ethnic minority groups who experience trauma; however, little is known about cultural adaptations of trauma assessments and interventions, or whether those adaptations meet cultural needs. This systematic review examined the effectiveness and experiences of culturally adapted trauma assessments and interventions for adults from racial and ethnic minority groups. Empirical studies investigating culturally adapted trauma assessment and/or interventions targeting adults from racial and ethnic minority groups were searched for in MEDLINE, PsycINFO, Embase, Scopus, CINAHL, Cochrane Central Register of Controlled Trials, Web of Science, from inception to May 2022.

Most PRMT5 inhibitors in the clinical trial focus on targeting the C-terminal catalytic domain, whereas developing small molecules to interrupt the PRMT5/pICLn (methylosome subunit) protein-protein interface is also of great importance for inhibiting PRMT5.

Psilocybin-Assisted Group Psychotherapy + Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) for Frontline Healthcare Provider COVID-19 Related Depression and Burnout: A Randomized Clinical Trial.

Objective: This clinical trial sought to evaluate the safety and preliminary efficacy of psilocybin and MBSR for frontline healthcare providers with symptoms of depression and burnout related to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Methods: This was a randomized controlled trial that enrolled physicians and nurses with frontline clinical work during the COVID-19 pandemic and symptoms of depression and burnout. Participants were randomized in a 1:1 ratio to either an 8-week MBSR curriculum alone or an 8-week MBSR curriculum plus group psilocybin-assisted psychotherapy (PAP) with 25mg psilocybin.

Introduction: Prognostication in spontaneous intracerebral hemorrhage (ICH) is vital for effective clinical decision-making but can be challenging. Frailty - the loss of physiological reserve to withstand stressor events - is a risk factor for poor outcomes after ischemic stroke, yet its role in ICH remains poorly understood. LARP4 is an RNA-binding protein that binds nuclear-encoded mitochondrial mRNAs to promote mitochondrial function.

Mitochondria-associated RNA-binding proteins (RBPs) have emerged as key contributors to mitochondrial biogenesis and homeostasis. With few examples known, we set out to identify RBPs that regulate nuclear-encoded mitochondrial mRNAs (NEMmRNAs). Our systematic analysis of RNA targets of 150 RBPs identified RBPs with a preference for binding NEMmRNAs, including LARP4, a La RBP family member.

Historically, lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender (LGBT) adults have faced barriers to obtaining health insurance coverage, which have contributed to disparities in access to care and health outcomes. The Affordable Care Act (ACA) and the 2015 Supreme Court ruling on marriage equality had the potential to improve access to health insurance for LGBT people. Using data from the nationally representative Health Reform Monitoring Survey, we provide new evidence on trends in coverage and access to care for LGBT and non-LGBT adults between 2013 and 2019.

Treatment tolerability is a significant limitation to pancreatic cancer treatment with radiotherapy due to proximity to highly radiosensitive organs and respiratory motion necessitating expanded target margins. Further, pancreatic tumors are difficult to visualize on conventional radiotherapy systems. Surrogates are often used to locate the tumor but are often inconsistent and do not provide strong positional relations throughout the respiratory cycle.

The dataset used is the Synthetic and Measured Paired Labeled Experiment (SAMPLE) dataset, using both original measured SAR data and synthetic EO data.
