The rational design and synthesis of reliable binders is a big challenge to efficiently mitigate the severe volume change of silicon-based anodes for lithium ion batteries. Herein, we report a multidentate molecular anchoring strategy to construct a novel self-adaptive aqueous binder. This binder composes of robust 3D dynamic networks derived from the crosslinking of the freely-rotatable multidentate molecular anchor (2,2-bis(hydroxymethyl)butyric acid, BHB) and polyacrylic acid (PAA) via dynamic hydrogen-mediated self-assembly, which effectively imparts the fabrication of high-strength Si/C anodes and achieves high areal capacities (6.

Background: The hypotension prediction index (HPI) is an algorithm designed to predict hypotension. Some studies have reported that HPI-guided hemodynamic management strategies decrease intraoperative hypotension and complications; however, the effect of HPI on reducing perioperative complications are controversial. This meta-analysis aimed to assess the efficacy of the HPI in reducing major complications and intraoperative hypotension.

Methods: A dual-flip-angle phase-contrast stack-of-stars (DFA PC-SOS) sequence was developed for simultaneous acquisition of highly-undersampled data for the quantification of velocity of arterial blood and T mapping of brain tissue. A deep learning-based algorithm, combining hybrid-feature hash encoding implicit neural representation with explicit sparse prior knowledge (INRESP), was used for image reconstruction.
Papillary craniopharyngioma (PCP) was previously believed to occur only in adults. Sporadic pediatric PCP (PPCP), confirmed by detection of the BRAF V600E mutation, has been reported since 2018. The differences between PPCP and adult PCP (APCP) remain unclear.

Furthermore, due to the unique vulnerabilities to vaccine-preventable diseases, misinformation, and access to health information among adults aged 65 and older, understanding vaccine confidence in this population is crucial for developing targeted interventions and improving vaccination rates. The current research is limited by single-country surveys and cross-sectional designs, providing limited insights into these issues.

To make the carbon emission reduction of highway construction more effective, this study focuses on the spatial heterogeneity of carbon emission in the process of highway construction. Based on the seven key indicators of carbon emission impacts of the type of structure, bridge-to-tunnel ratio, design gradient, route length, fill volume, excavation volume, and cement consumption screened out from the 40 segment samples of highway project A in Guangdong Province, we trained and validated the XGBoost carbon emission prediction model and constructed the SHAP algorithm to explain the impacts, total feature contributions, and feature interaction effects of the features of these 40 road segments. The SHAP algorithm was constructed to explain the spatial heterogeneity of carbon emissions of these 40 road sections, and the influence of road section features on carbon emissions, total feature contribution, and feature interaction effect were investigated.

The problem of myelin regeneration in adults with drug-resistant status epilepticus is a major key to the difficulty of treating cognitive impairment in adults with drug-resistant epilepsy (DRE). The purpose of this study is to provide a molecular map of myelin-related molecules under the cognitive deficits seen in DRE.

The compounds Co(OH)(5-cnapp)(HO) (1) and Co(OH)(4-cnapp)(HO)·12HO (2) obtained using positionally isomeric phosphonic acids (5-/4-cnappH) have 3D framework structures. Compound 1 contains a distorted Co(μ-OH)-based kagomé layer and shows long-range weak ferromagnetic ordering below 30 K without significant spin frustration.

Established methods for bone segmentation utilize visualization software for whole bone µCT segmentation and alignment of complex anatomical structures. These segmentation protocols provide a robust, high-accuracy method for segmentation, alignment, and analysis but are limited in abilities of user-defined region of interest (ROI) analysis.

We reported a case of endophthalmitis caused by Abiotrophia defectiva, presenting as retinal vasculitis in its early stages, a phenomenon rarely documented in literature.
Case Presentation: A 50-year-old Han Chinese man presented to the hospital with decreased vision in his left eye.
Objective: ZW10 interacting kinetochore protein (ZWINT) has been demonstrated to play a pivotal role in the growth, invasion, and migration of cancers. Nevertheless, whether the expression levels of ZWINT are significantly correlated with clinicopathological characteristics and prognostic outcomes of patients with breast cancer remains elusive. This study systematically investigated the clinical significance of ZWINT expression in breast cancer through integrated molecular subtyping and survival analysis.

The role of TFs in regulating these processes in cancers remains unclear. Here, it is shown that oncogenetic ETS transcription factor ETV4 controls DNA replication through both transcriptional and non-transcriptional mechanisms in non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC).

Regenerating critical-sized long bone defects poses substantial challenges due to limitations of autografts and processed allografts. Biomaterial scaffolds offer versatile alternatives, yet their effectiveness is often constrained by their limited innate osteoinductivity. While growth factors and cells can enhance osteoinduction, the inclusion of biologics in biomaterial scaffolds creates regulatory challenges for clinical translation.

In recent years, anti-tumor immunity has emerged as a central focus in cancer research, with the rapid advancement of immunotherapy heralding a new era in cancer treatment. Despite the significant potential of immunotherapy, the use of single-agent approaches or limited combination therapies has not consistently yielded optimal therapeutic outcomes. The strategic and controlled integration of diverse immune activation techniques within a single nanoparticle, utilizing a straightforward and universal methodology, continues to present a substantial challenge.

A series of lanthanide single-ion compounds, [Dy(TMPO)(SCN)(HO)] (1), [Dy(TMPO)(SCN)(HO)][Dy(TMPO) (SCN)(HO)](SCN)·(HO) (2), [Ho(TMPO)(SCN)(HO)] (3) (TMPO = trimorpholinophosphine oxide) and [Dy(HMPA)(SCN)](PF) (4) (HMPA = hexamethylphosphoramide), were synthesized by assembling neutral phosphoryl and anionic thiocyanate ligands with lanthanide central ions. Compounds 1 and 3 were revealed to be isostructural with distorted axially compressed pentagonal bipyramidal (PBP, pseudo- symmetry) coordination environments, which consist of two TMPO ligands on the apical sites and three thiocyanate anions and two coordinated water molecules in the equatorial plane. Compound 2 contains two molecular fragments, among which the Dy1 molecular fragment has a composition and structure very similar to compound 1, except for a lower degree of local distortion; there are slight differences between Dy2 and Dy1 molecular fragments, with one SCN replaced by a coordinating water molecule to become a counter anion, resulting in lower local distortion and shorter axial bond lengths.
