Methods: Using data from the SESIA registry (Safety and Efficacy of Stent Deployment for Intracranial Aneurysms), we enrolled participants who underwent pipeline embolization device implantation at 4 centers in China (2018-2022). Statin users (atorvastatin 20 mg daily, for ≥3 days and ≥6 months preprocedurally and postprocedurally, respectively) were matched with nonstatin users (1:1) using propensity scores and further adjusted by inverse probability of treatment weighting, balancing for baseline characteristics, procedural details, and lipid levels (based on East Asian profiles).
Background: Despite the expanding use of flow-diverting stents (flow diverters-FDs) for middle cerebral artery (MCA) bifurcation aneurysms, their efficacy remains contentious in this complex anatomy. Current studies report conflicting complete occlusion rates (55-92%) and significant branch stenosis/occlusion risks (8-43%), highlighting unmet needs in stent placement strategy.
Methods: In this retrospective cohort study combining clinical data with computational fluid dynamics (CFD), 20 MCA bifurcation aneurysms (19 patients) treated with FDs were analyzed.
Background: Limited studies investigated the relationship between triglyceride-glucose (TyG) index and the rupture of intracranial aneurysm (IA). We aimed to examine the association between TyG index and IA rupture in patients diagnosed with IAs.
Materials And Methods: Participants with IAs from January 2012 to April 2022 were retrospectively included.
Formic acid (FA) is regarded as a safe and practical hydrogen carrier owing to its favorable storage and handling characteristics. However, achieving efficient and selective FA dehydrogenation under mild conditions remains a significant challenge. In this study, the decomposition pathway of FA was found to be highly dependent on the acid-base characteristics of the catalyst support, with basic surfaces preferentially favoring the dehydrogenation route.

Background: In Chinese intervention studies, the lack of specific self-care scales based on the functional characteristics of Rheumatoid arthritis (RA) patients has caused patients and researchers to spend a great deal of time completing multiple related scales during the research work. Therefore, the arthritis Self-Care Behaviors Scale (SCBS) was developed to evaluate the self-care behavior of patients with arthritis.
Objective: The objectives of this study were to translate the SCBS into Chinese and test its psychometric properties in Chinese patients with RA.

CO sequestration technologies (CSTs) allow for increased CO emissions without exceeding a chosen temperature limit by creating additional carbon budgets. While these CO sequestration technologies offer low-cost routes to net-zero emissions, namely, the CST benefits, they impede progress to the Sustainable Development Goals, namely, the CST disbenefits. Focusing on China, we assess both the CST disbenefits and benefits in the climate-energy-air-health cascade by an integrated modeling framework.
