Purpose: Complex acetabular fractures involving both columns often require two approaches, one anterior and other posterior, for adequate reduction and fixation. Treatment of such fractures using modified Stoppa approach (MSA) either alone or in combination with lateral window of the ilio-inguinal approach has been reported. Whether this line of management is appropriate or not is a matter of further investigation.

Cobb Syndrome, or cutaneomeningospinal angiomatosis, is a rare non-hereditary neurocutaneous disorder characterised by spinal arteriovenous malformations (AVMs) and cutaneous vascular lesions within the same metamere. We present a case of Cobb syndrome manifesting as progressive paraparesis due to dorsal compressive myelopathy. Unlike most reported cases, which primarily involve the thoracic spine, this case exhibited extensive vascular malformations affecting all spinal segments, making it a rare presentation.

Revisiting the Forgotten Flap-Our Experience of Reconstructing the Oral Cavity in 18 Patients with the Infrahyoid Flap.

The frequently overlooked Infrahyoid flap is robust, pliable and an extremely versatile option for reconstruction of small-medium size oral cavity defects. Precarious venous drainage and slightly higher rates of congestion followed by flap loss have led to this flap being side-lined and underutilized. We review our experience of using the infrahyoid flap to reconstruct 18 patients with oral cavity defects following ablative resections for cancers of the oral cavity.

Organ shortage remains a critical challenge in India's transplant landscape, despite established deceased donor organ transplantation (DDOT) programmes. Many potentially viable organs from brain-dead deceased donors (DBDs) are discarded due to uncertainties surrounding donor suitability in specific clinical scenarios. To address this gap, the Indian Society of Organ Transplantation (ISOT) convened a panel of national experts to develop a Delphi consensus statement aimed at guiding transplant professionals on the feasibility of organ donation from DBDs, particularly in complex or marginal donor situations.

Peritoneal hydatidosis, usually secondary to hepatic or splenic hydatidosis, is rarely primary and is reported even less with ongoing pregnancy. We present the case of a multiparous woman in her 30s, currently in the third trimester of pregnancy, presenting for routine screening, showing multiple cystic masses that were revealed to unexpectedly be a giant hydatid cyst on imaging evaluation as a part of the work-up for ovarian mass. Following spontaneous labour, an emergency caesarean section and exploratory laparotomy were performed, revealing over 400 cysts, which were confirmed as hydatid cysts through histopathological examination.

Cutaneous Diphtheria: A Case Report.

Here we are presenting a case of a 1 year old child who had neutropenia with no prior dose of immunization presented with multiple cutaneous and respiratory lesions and diagnosed on microbiology as diphtheria.
