Bacterial detection is crucial for accurate clinical diagnostics and effective environmental monitoring. Particularly, , a pathogenic bacterium, can cause a wide range of infections, including meningitis, bloodstream infections, pneumonia, urinary tract infections, and wound or surgical site infections. Herein, a polypyrrole (PPy) functionalized TiCT -tin dioxide nanoparticle (SnO NPs) nanocomposite-based hybrid capacitive electrode for the electrochemical detection of ATCC 700603 is developed.

Low-fat mozzarella cheese (LFMC) has started to increase in popularity among health-conscious consumers. Unfortunately, the inadequate meltability and rubbery texture of LFMC make it undesirable for many consumers.

This review focuses on the bioavailability, mechanisms of action, and therapeutic potential of sweet potato-derived anthocyanins in diabetes and metabolic disorders. Anthocyanins, which are plant pigments, exhibit high antioxidant activity by scavenging free radicals and stimulating endogenous antioxidant enzymes such as catalase and superoxide dismutase, thereby protecting cellular structures from damage and reducing oxidative damage in vital metabolic organs such as the pancreas, liver, brain, and muscles.

Despite the therapeutic potential of the primary vaccine series, a lack of confidence in the COVID-19 booster vaccine poses a threat to public health and undermines its coverage at the national, regional, and global levels. This study aimed to understand COVID-19 booster vaccine confidence (CBVC) among Bangladeshi adults aged 18-49 and the potential predictors of CBVC. In line with STROBE guidelines, a face-to-face cross-sectional survey was conducted from June 15 to August 31, 2023 during the spread of the SARS-CoV-2 Omicron variant.

Due to its ability to form antibiotic-resistant biofilms, Pseudomonas aeruginosa can cause serious, long-lasting infections, especially in individuals with weakened immune systems; therefore, its rapid detection is crucial for effective treatment. Herein, a polythiophene-functionalized TiCT-TiO nanorods (NRs) based electrochemical capacitive biosensor is proposed for the determination of Pseudomonas aeruginosa DMC-27b. The capacitive characteristics of the modified electrode were evaluated using a combination of electrochemical methods, such as electrochemical impedance spectroscopy, cyclic voltammetry, galvanostatic discharge, and self-discharging.
