Methods: A novel bi-directional spectral reconstruction method is presented, leveraging visible to near-infrared (Vis-NIR) information gathered from tomato spectra and their internal tissues (skin, pulp, and seeds).

Introduction: Analysis of an individual's immunoglobulin (IG) gene repertoire requires the use of high-quality germline gene reference sets. When sets only contain alleles supported by strong evidence, AIRR sequencing (AIRR-seq) data analysis is more accurate and studies of the evolution of IG genes, their allelic variants and the expressed immune repertoire is therefore facilitated.
Methods: The Adaptive Immune Receptor Repertoire Community (AIRR-C) IG Reference Sets have been developed by including only human IG heavy and light chain alleles that have been confirmed by evidence from multiple high-quality sources.

This paper presents an approach to enhancing sensitivity in optical sensors by integrating self-image theory and graphene oxide coating. With the objective of developing new methods to acquire diagnostic information, the reconstruction of the broadband absorption coefficient spectra (μ [λ]) of healthy and chromophobe renal cell carcinoma kidney tissues was performed. By performing a weighted sum of the absorption spectra of proteins, DNA, oxygenated, and deoxygenated hemoglobin, lipids, water, melanin, and lipofuscin, it was possible to obtain a good match of the experimental μ (λ) of both kidney conditions. The weights used in those reconstructions were estimated using the least squares method, and assuming a total water content of 77% in both kidney tissues, it was possible to calculate the concentrations of the other tissue components.

Aims: Investigate whether a Home-based Exercise Therapy (HBET) program for patients with Peripheral Arterial Disease (PAD) and Intermittent Claudication (IC) with a behavior change intervention, supported by a smartphone application, is effective in improving walking distances and performance, and quality of life (QoL) over 6 months.
Methods And Results: This was a single-center, prospective, two-arm, single-blinded randomized controlled trial including 73 patients with PAD and IC, and three assessment moments: baseline, 3, and 6 months. Participants were randomized to receive a walking exercise prescription, with the support ( = 38) or without the support ( = 35) of the WalkingPad app, between January 2021 and July 2022.

Accurate localization is a critical task in underwater navigation. Typical localization methods use a set of acoustic sensors and beacons to estimate relative position, whose geometric configuration has a significant impact on the localization accuracy.
