The homeobox gene subfamily members Dlx-5, HLX and TLX1proteins are known to regulate several embryonic development processes, including body axis formation, limb development and organogenesis, and play critical roles in cell proliferation and differentiation. This study was designed to investigate the localisation and expression density levels of Dlx-5, HLX and TLX1 proteins in cells of bovine stomach compartments during gestation and to compare the immunoexpression between the stomach compartments. A total of 30 foetuses, morphologically normal, from each period of gestation (10 foetuses from each period), were used in the study.

Tonsilloliths can be seen on panoramic radiographs (PRs) as deposits located on the middle portion of the ramus of the mandible. Although tonsilloliths are clinically harmless, the high risk of misdiagnosis leads to unnecessary advanced examinations and interventions, thus jeopardizing patient safety and increasing unnecessary resource use in the healthcare system. Therefore, this study aims to meet an important clinical need by providing accurate and rapid diagnostic support.

Introduction: Vitamin D-dependent rickets type IA (VDDR1A) is an autosomal recessive disorder characterized by defects in the biosynthesis of its active form 1,25-dihydroxyvitamin D due to mutations in the CYP27B1 gene, which encodes for 1α-hydroxylase. The present study aimed to evaluate the clinical characteristics, molecular genetic aetiology, and long-term outcomes of a large nationwide cohort of children with VDDR1A from Turkey.
Methods: In this multi-centre retrospective cross-sectional study, we collected clinical characteristics, laboratory features, molecular genetic analysis results, and long-term follow-up of a nationwide cohort of patients with VDDR1A using a web-based research network, CEDD-NET, for paediatric endocrinology research.

Backround: In the mathematics education literature, there is a limited number of comprehensive studies that examine the dynamic relationship between teacher efficacy beliefs and psychological variables such as curiosity and anxiety within the context of primary education. However, these variables have a wide sphere of influence, extending from instructional quality to student achievement, and they interactively shape teacher behaviors. Therefore, investigating the impact of primary teachers' mathematical curiosity and teaching anxiety on their beliefs about mathematics teaching efficacy emerges as a necessity for supporting professional development, restructuring teacher education programs more effectively, and contributing to the improvement of mathematics instruction.

Varicose veins and chronic venous insufficiency are chronic venous disorders involving abnormalities in the venous system. Inflammation, an increase in proteolytic enzymes, and free radicals are important factors that play a role in the varicose vein pathology. In this study, the antioxidant properties and inhibitor activities of 17 plant extracts used to treat varicose veins in traditional medicine were evaluated against varicose veins-related enzymes (hyaluronidase, elastase, collagenase, lipooxygenase, prolylendopeptidase, and xanthine oxidase).
