Vertical GaN P-i-N diodes exhibit excellent high-voltage performance, fast switching speed, and low conduction losses, making them highly attractive for power applications. However, their breakdown voltage is severely constrained by electric field crowding at device edges. Using silvaco tcad (2019) tools, this work systematically evaluates multiple edge termination techniques, including deep-etched mesa, beveled mesa, and field-plate configurations with both vertical and inclined mesa structures.

Critical thinking disposition (CTD) is essential for pre-service teachers, as it supports their ability and tendency to reflect on teaching practices and make informed decisions in their future professional roles. Emotional intelligence (EI) and resilience (RS), which can help pre-service teachers better manage emotions, cope with stress, and enhance cognitive flexibility, are considered potential predictors of CTD. However, research exploring how EI and RS directly or indirectly predict CTD remains limited.

Conditioned fear learning is crucial for survival, and failure of fear extinction is closely related to the development of anxiety disorders. This study explores how different executive function (EF) subcomponents-shifting, updating, and inhibition-modulate conditioned fear extinction and reinstatement at both behavioral and neural levels. A total of 88 participants (age range: 17-23 years) completed the Stroop Task, Digit Size-Parity Switching Task, and Memory Updating Task to assess their executive function abilities.

An arithmetic operation P system based on symmetric ternary system.

School of Big Data and Computer Science Engineering, Chongqing College of Mobile Communication, Chongqing, Chongqing, China.

Nowadays, electronic computers use a "binary" numbering system, as opposed to "ternary" logic, which is closer to the way the human brain thinks. In this paper, the symmetric ternary system is applied to membrane computing for the first time. By combining the symmetric ternary system with membrane computing, this paper provides a more suitable arithmetic operation method for bio-computers, which breaks through the limitations of the traditional binary system in complex operations, and has a great potential for application in artificial intelligence and automatic learning in particular.

Aim: We aimed to assess the impact of Tai Chi interventions on individuals with essential hypertension and to compare the effects of Tai Chi versus control in this population.

Background: Tai Chi has been extensively utilized in the prevention of essential hypertension. Nevertheless, there is a lack of consensus regarding its benefits for treating essential hypertension.

To explore the appropriate exercise methods and means for astronauts in confined and small isolation conditions, a set of Tai Chi suitable for the spaceflight workforce was created, with the aim of discovering the practical effects of Tai Chi and providing a scientific basis for the subsequent development of new astronaut health maintenance techniques with Chinese characteristics. Using the Controlled Ecological Life Support System (CELSS) as a research platform, we observed the changes in a crew member's emotion regulation-related indexes during 180 days of working and living in a confined isolation chamber through periodic interventions of the Tai Chi and conducted statistical analyses. During the 180-day cabin mission, expression suppression, cognitive reappraisal, attention index, and relaxation index were all lower than those before entering the cabin, suggesting that the crew member's emotion regulation ability decreased during the in-cabin mission.

Bacterial communities play an important role in the carbon cycle of freshwater ecosystems. In order to understand the influencing factors of bacterial community in the process of carbon cycle and search for measures to reduce carbon emissions, Chongqing central city section of the Yangtze River and its tributaries were selected to be the study area in this research. High-throughput sequencing was applied to study aerobic oxidation of methane bacteria (MOB) in sampling area.

Background: International stroke care guidelines recommend the routine assessment and management of psychological and emotional problems in patients and their families after a stroke. This study aimed to explore the humanistic nursing needs of patients with stroke and their families and provide a basis for the construction of humanistic nursing practice guidelines for advanced stroke.

Methods: From September to October 2019, using the descriptive phenomenological research method, a semi-structured interview outline was formed based on a literature review and subject group discussions.

Engineered nanoparticles have recently been used for innovation in agricultural disease management. However, both the toxicity effects and mechanisms of nanoparticles in target pathogens and their host plants are still largely unknown. Here, we found that magnesium oxide nanoparticles (MgO NPs) could protect potatoes against () at a low dosage (50 μg/mL).

Chengdu Jiuzhou Electronic Information System Co.Ltd, Chengdu, Sichuan 610000, China.

In order to improve the effect of online English teaching in the context of the epidemic, this paper combines intelligent feature recognition technology to carry out an online English teaching system in the context of the epidemic and greatly reduces the number of variants by selecting mutation operators with excellent performance. Moreover, in this paper, the mutation adequacy and the number of mutation operators are regarded as two objective functions, and the selection problem of mutation operators is generated into a two-stage optimization problem, and the above problems are solved by a genetic algorithm. In addition, this paper sorts the mutation branches and preferentially covers the mutation branches of the mutants corresponding to the mutation operators with higher mutation scores.
