The resilience of established business strategies has been tested in the wake of recent global supply chain upheavals triggered by events like the COVID-19 pandemic, Russia-Ukraine combat, Hamas-Israel war, and other geopolitical conflicts. Organizations are compelled to integrate sustainable practices into their supply chains to navigate the complexities of the post-COVID-19 era and mitigate the far-reaching consequences of such disruptions. However, exploring supply chain imperatives from sustainability dimensions still remains underexplored, presenting a significant research gap, particularly in the fashion retail sector.

This research presents an explicit analysis of the effects of sintering temperature (T) on the structural, morphological, magnetic, and optical properties of CuMgFeO nanoferrites synthesized via the sol-gel method. To accomplish it, Cu-Mg ferrite NPs were sintered at temperatures ranging from 300 to 800 °C in increments of 100 with a constant holding duration of 5 h. Thermogravimetric analysis was used to observe the degradation of organic components and the thermally stable zone of the material.

COVID-19 caused by severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus-2 (SARS-CoV-2) had an adverse effect globally because it caused a global pandemic with several million deaths. This virus possesses spike protein that is cleaved or activated by Furin-like protease enzymes occurring by mammalian lung or respiratory cells to enter the mammalian body. The addition of the Furin cleavage site in SARS-CoV-2 makes it a more infectious and emerging virus than its ancestor's viruses.

In recent decades, Alzheimer's disease (AD) has garnered significant attention due to its rapid global prevalence. The cholinergic hypothesis posits that the degradation of acetylcholine by acetylcholinesterase (AChE) contributes to AD development. Despite existing anti-AChE drugs, their adverse side effects necessitate new agents.

This research elucidated the hypoglycemic effect correlated with DNA-protective and antioxidative activity of Lasia spinosa stem aqueous extract (LSSAE) using streptozotocin-induced type 2 diabetic rat models. LSSAE, characterized by phytochemical screening, gas chromatography-mass spectroscopy (GC-MS), and FTIR analyses, was investigated for its DNA-protective activity by exposing PBR322 plasmid DNA to Fenton's reagents. Long Evans rats, treated by LSSAE, were found to be improved for body weight, fasting blood glucose level, and oral glucose load.

Cyclotriazadisulfonamide (CADA) is a macrocyclic compound known for its unique mechanism in inhibiting HIV infection by downregulating the CD4 T-cell receptor, a crucial entry point for the virus. Unlike other antiretrovirals, CADA exhibits activity against a wide range of HIV strains, as all HIV variants require CD4 binding for infection. Furthermore, CADA has shown a synergistic effect with clinically approved anti-HIV drugs, offering potential for enhanced therapeutic strategies (Vermeire & Schols, [65]).

A significant turning point in the search for environmentally friendly energy storage options is the switch from lithium-ion to sodium-ion batteries. This review highlights the potential of sodium-ion battery (NIB) technology to address the environmental and financial issues related to lithium-ion systems by thoroughly examining recent developments in NIB technology. It is noted that sodium is more abundant and less expensive than lithium, NIBs have several benefits that could drastically lower the total cost of energy storage systems.
