Purpose: To build computed tomography (CT)-based radiomics models, with independent external validation, to predict recurrence and disease-specific mortality in patients with colorectal liver metastases (CRLM) who underwent liver resection.
Methods: 113 patients were included in this retrospective study: the internal training cohort comprised 66 patients, while the external validation cohort comprised 47. All patients underwent a CT study before surgery.

Background: () Resin has been used in traditional medicine for millennia because of its anti-inflammatory, antibacterial, and wound-healing characteristics. Recent research has proved its medicinal promise, particularly against resistant bacterial strains and oxidative stress.
Objective: This study seeks to assess the antimicrobial and antioxidant properties of resin, extracted with ethanol, and to formulate a topical cream for dermatological use, specifically targeting skin infections and inflammatory conditions such as acne.

The integration of wearable medical devices and digital health technologies (DHTs) in health care has grown significantly during the past 2 decades, particularly in dermatology, in which objective measurement of symptoms such as itch remains challenging. This review examines the evolution of DHTs in dermatology, focusing on the validation frameworks necessary for their implementation in clinical trials and research. We discuss the key stages of validation: hardware validation to ensure device reliability, analytical validation to transform raw sensor data into meaningful metrics, and clinical validation to demonstrate utility in specific patient populations.

Dipeptidyl peptidase 1 (DPP1) inhibitors constitute a major advance in respiratory disease therapeutics. Through selective blockade of neutrophil serine protease (NSP) activation, these agents establish novel treatment paradigms for inflammatory respiratory conditions characterized by neutrophil-driven pathology. This comprehensive review examines the development status, clinical efficacy, and safety profile of DPP1 inhibitors in neutrophil-driven diseases, particularly non-cystic fibrosis bronchiectasis (NCFBE) and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD).

Background And Aims: Biliary atresia (BA) is a severe neonatal cholangiopathy characterized by progressive inflammation and fibrosis. We aimed to systematically investigate BA pathology using integrated multi-omics.
Methods: Multi-omics integration of BA and control livers revealed sphingolipid dysregulation.
