Background: To date, tools evaluating the impact of skin diseases on quality of life have investigated short-term impact, overlooking the long-term effects on important life decisions.

Objective: to create and validate the "Dermatology Long-Term Life Impact Measure (DLLIM)" questionnaire, that assesses the impact of six chronic inflammatory skin diseases on an individual's life decisions METHODS: Following COSMIN guidelines, we developed and validated DLLIM through item refinement and psychometric testing in a sample of 16,727 patients with chronic skin diseases. Factorial and construct validity were assessed, alongside internal consistency using Cronbach's alpha.

Background: Cardiac transthyretin amyloidosis (ATTR-CM) is a life-threatening cardiomyopathy. Tafamidis has been demonstrated to be an effective treatment. Our aim was to analyze clinical characteristics and survival of patients with ATTR-CM aged ≥80 years diagnosed after November 2018, treated with tafamidis 80/61 mg, and compare them with a non-treated group diagnosed before that date.

Introduction: Holocaust survivors experienced extreme trauma, including physical abuse and malnutrition, leading to various eating disorders. The aim of this study was to compare the eating behaviours of Children of Holocaust Survivors (CHS) with those of children of non-Jewish parents who had at least one parent in France during World War II (CW), and to explore the influence of parental relationships with food on these behaviours.

Methods: CHS and CW participants were recruited via social media for an online survey that collected demographic data, family war history, parental hunger experiences, and the prevalence of family silence about the war.

The objective of this study was to assess the demographic characteristics and impact on quality of life (QoL) of patients with PPG in France through a multicentre study. The results of the study are as follows: The PRO [PUSH-D, PHQ-9 et GAD-7] revealed that more than half of the patients exhibited a significant impact on their quality of life. High scores for fatigue, stress, skin and joint pain were reported, with 65% of patients at risk of mild to severe depression.

The terrorist attacks of 7 October 2023 in southern Israel had a significant impact on the mental health of Holocaust Survivors (HS), who are considered to be particularly vulnerable to traumatic events. The aim of the study was to assess the severity of perceived stress and the psychological impact of the 7 October attacks on HS.
