Global phosphorus (P) resources are facing a depletion crisis, and pyrolysis of P-rich sewage sludge (SS) offers significant resource potential. Optimizing pyrolysis conditions remains key yet challenging for enhancing P retention and bioavailability. This study conducted a correlation-prediction-causation integrated framework (CPCIF) to investigate how heating temperature (HT), heating rate (HR), and retention time (RT) influence total P enrichment rate (BTPE), relative inorganic P transformation rate (BITP), and relative apatite P transformation rate (BAIP) from SS to biochar during pyrolysis.

Background: The molecular mechanisms underlying aneurysmal subarachnoid hemorrhage (aSAH) and delayed ischemic neurologic deficit (DIND) remain poorly understood. We hereby present the study investigating epigenome-wide profile of DNA methylation in adults with aSAH and DIND.
Methods: A prospective observational epigenome-wide association study (EWAS) was conducted with DNA extracted from the peripheral whole blood of subjects with aSAH.

Objective: This study aimed to evaluate the diagnostic performance of biochemical markers in normocalcemic primary hyperparathyroidism (nPHPT), analyse their temporal variations, and assess their correlation with adenoma localisation and size.
Methods: In this multicenter retrospective study-the largest patient cohort reported in the literature to date (n = 474) we comprehensively profiled normocalcemic patients diagnosed with primary hyperparathyroidism nPHPT was diagnosed based on persistently elevated PTH levels with normal serum calcium after excluding secondary causes such as vitamin D deficiency, renal impairment, and other conditions. This retrospective multicenter study included a large cohort of patients whose biochemical markers-including serum calcium, phosphorus, magnesium, vitamin D, parathyroid hormone (PTH), and glomerular filtration rate (GFR)-were measured at three time points, using standardised laboratory protocols.

Vitamin D has a protective effect on the brain under hypertensive conditions. Studies have shown that 1,25-dihydroxyvitamin D (1,25(OH)D) can negatively regulate hypertension and central renin-angiotensin system activation through a central anti-oxidative mechanism in 1α-hydroxylase knockout mice. To confirm whether endogenous or exogenous 1,25(OH)D deficiency or supplementation alters cerebrovascular function and vasopressin expression through anti-oxidation, researchers provided 1α(OH)ase mice and their wild-type littermates with regular diet, a high-calcium, high-phosphorus rescue diet with N-acetyl-L-cysteine supplementation, or 1,25(OH)D subcutaneous injection.
