In our study, we performed both computed tomographic angiography (CTA) and digital substraction angiography (DSA) collateral artery flow scoring in anterior system acute stroke patients who underwent mechanical thrombectomy (MT) within the first 16 hours. The study aimed to evaluate the consistency of both scoring methods and their relationship with the 90-day clinical outcomes of the patients. From January to December 2022, the files of patients with middle cerebral artery occlusion who underwent MT and were followed up at a stroke center were retrospectively reviewed.

Colonic intussusception after endoscopic submucosal dissection (ESD) is an uncommon, yet clinically significant complication. Therapeutic approaches for postoperative intussusception encompass conservative management, endoscopic reduction, and surgical intervention. We present a case involving a woman in her early 40s who experienced acute abdominal pain and fever shortly after ESD for a large ascending colonic adenoma.

Rationale: Struma ovarii is a rare form of mature cystic teratoma, with malignant transformation reported in approximately 5% to 10% of cases. Transformation into follicular thyroid carcinoma (FTC) is extremely uncommon; as a result, no standardized guidelines exist for treatment or prognosis for such cases.
