Objective: To examine the safety and effectiveness of non-inverted ILM Free Flap combined with the SPOT technique (Sub-Perfluorocarbon liquid (PFCL) injection of Ocular viscoelastic device (OVD) Technique) in the treatment of unclosed macular holes (MHs).
Design: Retrospective interventional case series.
Participants: Eight patients (8 eyes) with persistent unclosed MHs were treated at a tertiary eye hospital in China from September 2023 to February 2025.

Thermal imaging is a key plant phenotyping and monitoring technique but faces major bottlenecks in accurately and efficiently inferring stomatal conductance (g) from leaf temperature. The conductance index (I) was previously proposed to estimate g from thermography by linking temperature differences between real and artificial leaves (ALs) based on the leaf energy balance. However, I is highly sensitive to environmental fluctuations, hampering interpretation and reducing reproducibility.

Silatranization, a specialized variant of silanization using silatrane compounds, is emerging as a powerful strategy to functionalize material surfaces. Compared to conventional silane coupling agents, silatranes exhibit remarkable hydrolytic stability and enhanced resistance to self-condensation, enabling controllable, water-independent formation of a polysiloxane self-assembled monolayer. This review critically examines the unique structure of silatranyl cages, emphasizing how the intramolecular N->Si bond and chelate effect modulate the silicon center's reactivity toward hydroxyl-decorated surfaces.

Electrochemical CO reduction (CORR) to carbon monoxide (CO) offers a sustainable pathway for carbon utilization, yet challenges remain in terms of improving selectivity and activity. Herein, we report a Ni/NC catalyst synthesized via a milling - pyrolysis method, in which Ni particles anchored on nitrogen-doped carbon (NC) are electrochemically activated under an Ar atmosphere, leading to their structural evolution into single-atom Ni sites. After activation in Ar atmosphere, the current density nearly doubles (from ≈30 to ≈60 mA cm), and concurrently, the Faradaic efficiency of CO stays at ∼90% with the potential set to -0.
