Imidacloprid (IMI) is an insect-selective synthetic nicotine derivative used in commercial agricultural systems, home gardening, and veterinary pharmaceuticals. People are exposed to IMI through consumption of contaminated food and water and through contact with companion animals. However, the effects of IMI on the female reproductive system are not well understood.

Introduction: Several aquaporins (AQPs) are involved in the influx of water to form follicular fluid, and AQP2 may play a crucial role in follicular growth. However, the specific roles of Aquaporin (AQP) 2 and AQP6 in granulosa cells (GCs) during follicular fluid (FF) formation, as well as their relationship with gonadotropins (Gn), remain unclear.
Methods: Luteinized granulosa cells (LGCs) were isolated from follicles of different diameters.

In Brief: Treatment of female and male infertility currently depends on repeated injections of gonadotrophins, which can be burdensome for patients and does not always provide successful outcomes. Based on different animal models, CF12 mAb potentiates the effect of both exogenous and endogenous gonadotrophins in females and males, suggesting its potential to improve outcomes and reduce the burden of infertility treatments.
Abstract: Follicle-stimulating hormone (FSH) and luteinizing hormone (LH) are key for folliculogenesis and spermatogenesis and play a role, together with chorionic gonadotrophin (CG), in fertility treatment.

: Research on the immunocastration vaccine is of great significance for animal management. In this study, the gonadotropin-releasing hormone (GnRH) ferritin nanoparticle vaccine was constructed using Spy Catcher-Spy Tag (SC-ST) as a delivery system; : The Spy Catcher was constructed to fuse with the expression vector pET-30a-SF of ferritin nanoparticles. Two polypeptides, STG1: Spy Tag-GnRH I-PADRE and STG2: Spy Tag-GnRH I-GnRH II, coupled to SF in vitro to form two nanoparticles, were designed and synthesized to detect castration effects in mice.

The objective of the study was to investigate the effects of low-protein amino acid-balanced (LPAB) diets supplemented with polysaccharides (APSs) on the production performance, antioxidants, immunity, and biochemical index of laying hens in an elevated-temperature environment.
