Purpose Of Review: Sleep disordered breathing (SDB) encompasses a spectrum of disorders ranging from snoring to complete upper airway collapse and cessation of respiration leading to oxygen desaturation and sleep fragmentation. SDB is highly prevalent in the pregnant population, particularly predisposed to SDB because of physiological changes such as hormonal changes, changes to body habitus, and respiratory mechanics due to the gravid uterus.
Recent Findings: The disorder has been associated with adverse maternal outcomes in pregnancy such as gestational hypertension, preeclampsia, impaired glucose metabolism, severe maternal cardiovascular morbidity, and long-term morbidity, as well as maternal mental health conditions with potential societal consequences.

The scalable fabrication of high performance dyes desalination loose nanofiltration (LNF) membrane through facile thermal annealing remains challenging due to the susceptible pore collapse. Herein, we have developed a metal ion mediated sub-Tg thermal crosslinking protocol, which can convert the phase inverted reactive polymeric ultrafiltration substrate into LNF membrane showing high permselectivity as well as resistance to both extremely acid and alkaline solution. The original ultrafiltration substrate was composed of scalable-produced reactive polyarylene ether amidoxime (PEA) that was pre-crosslinked with ferric ions.

The integration of Mn in NaMnFe(PO)PO (NMFPP) enhances the energy density but compromises the Na mobility and structural stability due to limited electron hopping and pronounced Jahn-Teller effects. To address this, a structurally compatible anionic substitution strategy is implemented by partially replacing PO with bulkier and less electronegative SiO groups. The reinforced cathode exhibits enhanced rate performance, which is attributed to lattice expansion induced by the larger SiO units, thereby facilitating Na diffusion and reducing impedance during charge-discharge processes, as supported by GITT and DRT analyses.

Myocardial infarction (MI), induced by ischemia and hypoxia of the coronary arteries, presents as myocardial necrosis. Patients often experience intense, prolonged retrosternal pain that is unrelieved by rest or nitrate therapy and is frequently associated with high blood myocardial enzyme levels. Physical effort may exacerbate this anxiety, increasing the likelihood of life-threatening consequences such as arrhythmias, shock, or cardiac failure.

Direct displacement of low-income, long-time residents has long been considered a key feature of gentrification. It has also been linked to adverse health impacts. Like elsewhere, Portugal is facing a "housing crisis".
