Zeolites with high framework Si/Al ratios are of interest for industrial applications due to their hydrothermal stability. They are usually synthesized in the presence of pre-prepared organic structure directing agents (OSDAs). The high silica ERS-7 zeolite (topology type ESV) can be crystallized using N,N-dimethylpyrrolidinium (dmpyrr) that is formed in situ via cyclization of N,N,N',N'-tetramethyl-1,4-diaminobutane (tmdab) when a cationic polymer is also present. The in situ generation of dmpyrr is demonstrated by solid-state C NMR spectroscopy and supported by both chemical analyses and comparative syntheses using pre-prepared dmpyrr. The cationic polymer inhibits the crystallization of mordenite, which is otherwise observed to be the favored product. The ERS-7 prepared via in situ dmpyrr synthesis (Si/Al = 14) is characterized by PXRD and solid-state NMR spectroscopy. The CO adsorption seen for the H- and Na-forms indicates interactions with accessible Na cations. The synthetic studies indicate the potential for in situ generation of OSDAs to reduce the need for extended OSDA syntheses.

However, unlike traditional dyes or pigments that allow for arbitrary color adjustments during the coloring process, current structural color surfaces lack flexibility in control, as their colors are difficult to reprocess or adjust once formed.

To balance the "detection sensitivity" and "device stability" of the organic photoelectrochemical transistor (OPECT) aptasensors, it has become an urgent challenge for achieving effective signal modulation under low ascorbic acid (AA) conditions. To address this, our work proposed a collaborative optimization strategy by coupling heterojunction engineering with interfacial molecular modulation, to endow a high current gain of OPECT with low-AA -dependence. First, a CdZnS-SnInS heterojunction gate was constructed by in situ growth of CdZnS quantum dots (QDs) on SnInS nanoflowers, which enhanced the light trapping ability and photoelectric conversion efficiency of the photoactive gate.

Ionic conductive hydrogels show promise for flexible sensors in wearables and e-skins, but balancing mechanical strength with high conductivity remains challenging. Herein, a triple-network ionic conductive hydrogel based on poly(acrylic acid) (PAA) was developed, synergistically reinforced by dissolved cellulose (dCel) and aramid nanofibers (ANF), with Al/Zn bimetallic ions serving as the conductive medium. Intriguingly, dCel was in-situ generated using the concentrated Al/Zn bimetallic salt solutions as the cellulose solvent, following the complete dissolution of the pulp fibers driven by the intensive ionic hydration of Al/Zn ions.

Background: Dermal clear cell sarcoma (DCCS) is a rare malignant mesenchymal neoplasm. Owing to the overlaps in its morphological and immunophenotypic profiles with a broad spectrum of tumors exhibiting melanocytic differentiation, it is frequently misdiagnosed as other tumor entities in clinical practice. By systematically analyzing the clinicopathological characteristics, immunophenotypic features, and molecular biological properties of DCCS, this study intends to further enhance pathologists' understanding of this disease and provide a valuable reference for its accurate diagnosis.

Azo dyes, prevalent in various industries, including textile dyeing, food, and cosmetics, pose significant environmental and health risks due to their chemical stability and toxicity. This study introduces the synthesis and application of a copper hydrogen-π-bonded benzoate framework (Cu-HBF) and its derived marigold flower-like copper oxide (MFL-CuO) in a synergetic adsorption-photocatalytic process for efficiently removing cationic azo dyes from water, specifically crystal violet (CV), methylene blue (MB), and rhodamine B (RhB). The Cu-HBF, previously available only in single crystal form, is prepared here as a crystalline powder for the first time, using a low-cost and facile procedure, allowing its application as an adsorbent and also serving as a precursor for synthesizing well-structured copper oxide (MFL-CuO).
