This protocol was developed to conduct population-wide surveillance of the bivalent HPV-16/18-AS04-adjuvanted human papillomavirus (HPV) vaccine in terms of uptake and safety outcomes including potential immune-mediated diseases (pIMDs) and pregnancy-related outcomes in China. The study will use electronic health records from 2010 to 2020 from the Yinzhou Regional Health Information Platform and include a population-based cohort of female permanent residents aged 9-45 years. Baseline and follow-up periods will be defined according to the 2017 introduction of HPV-16/18-AS04 in China. Patients with pIMDs and pregnancy-related outcomes will be identified using primary diagnostic codes from outpatient and inpatient electronic health records. A time trend analysis will be performed to describe the incidence of pIMDs and pregnancy-related outcomes during baseline and follow-up periods by age and overall, per calendar year. Depending on the number of safety outcomes and the size of the study population, incidence in vaccinated and unvaccinated cohorts will be compared using a Poisson regression model for pIMDs and a logistic regression model for pregnancy-related outcomes, adjusting for age and calendar year. Methods and findings from this study will provide valuable experience for designing future real-world studies and complement observations made during clinical trials and post-marketing studies.: http://www.chinadrugtrials.org.cn/index.html: CTR20210523.

Background: Peripartum cardiomyopathy (PPCM) is a rare, life-threatening form of heart failure occurring in late pregnancy or postpartum, with variable clinical course and outcomes. We report preliminary clinical and echocardiographic findings from a national Italian registry of PPCM patients METHODS: The study was approved by the institutional Ethics Committee and registered at ClinicalTrials.gov (NCT05878041).

Problem/background: Depression and anxiety during the peripartum period affect maternal and infant well-being but remain understudied and undertreated.
Aim: This study investigated the prevalence, longitudinal course, flow patterns, and risk and protective factors for depression and generalized anxiety during pregnancy and postpartum.
Methods: A longitudinal design with four assessment points (second trimester, third trimester, three and six months postpartum) was used, including 136 women from a German university hospital.

Introduction: Although Indonesia has made significant progress in improving maternal and child health nationally, regional disparities persist, particularly in eastern Indonesia, where maternal and neonatal health outcomes remain suboptimal compared with the western regions. This study examined factors associated with non-use of antenatal care (ANC) in eastern Indonesia.
Methods: We analyzed data from 3,261 mothers with infants under one year of age in eastern Indonesia who were interviewed in the 2023 Indonesia Health Survey.

Objectives: We aimed to examine patterns of diagnostic evaluations for abnormal uterine bleeding (AUB) in a national sample of emergency department (ED) visits and identify potential racial and ethnic differences.
Methods: Using the 2014-2021 National Hospital Ambulatory Medical Care Survey data, we identified 1,049 (unweighted; 7,900,653 weighted) women age ≥18 years without previous cancer diagnosis who visited EDs for non-pregnancy-related AUB. The primary outcomes were whether an ultrasound was provided/ordered and whether referral/follow-up consultation was recommended.

Background: Histological chorioamnionitis (HCAM) is associated with adverse neurodevelopmental outcomes; however, its role in extremely preterm twin pregnancies (<28 weeks of gestation), particularly in relation to chorionicity, is unclear.
Objective: To evaluate the association between HCAM severity and neurodevelopmental outcomes at 3 years old in extremely preterm twins, focusing on the modifying effect of chorionicity.
Methods: Utilizing data from the Neonatal Research Network of Japan (2004-2020), this retrospective cohort study included twins born at <28 weeks' gestation and birth weight < 1500 g.
