Among the various types of tumors, breast cancer (BC) has a high distribution in the world population and is responsible for a high mortality rate. Like other forms of cancer, BC is characterised by distinctive features such as high-energy metabolism in tumor cells, genetic mutations, and mitochondrial dysfunction that sometimes make conventional therapies less effective. However, there is a growing awareness of the vital role played by diet therapy in the overall management of the patient with BC, both by supporting standard therapy and by directly targeting aberrant biological processes involved in carcinogenesis.

Pyroelectrodynamic therapy (PEDT) of tumors faces challenges due to its low electrocatalytic efficiency at mild temperature and the potential for off-target toxicity to healthy tissue. To overcome these issues, we have engineered pyroelectric nanoparticles (NPs) that feature a pH-triggered heterojunction structure and tumor-selective reactive oxidative species (ROS) production, faclitating synergistic PEDT and mild photothermal therapy (PTT). Herein, molybdenum trioxide (MoO) was deposited in-situ on the surface of tetragonal BaTiO (tBT) to create tBT@MO.

Consumers claim environmental concern consistently choose conventional products over green alternatives. This study has discovered a paradox about Malaysian consumers' green purchasing decisions which are driven more by novelty-seeking psychology than environmental responsibility consciousness. Through multi-methodological validation combining correlation analysis, machine learning algorithms, and structural equation modeling across urban consumers, we found that consumer novelty seeking exhibits stronger associations with green consumption behavior than traditional planned behavior constructs.

Infected wounds remain a major clinical challenge due to bacterial invasion, which disrupts the natural healing cascade through excessive reactive oxygen species (ROS) generation, severe vascular damage, and persistent inflammation. Inspired by the catechol-rich adhesive domains of mussel foot proteins, we developed an extracellular matrix (ECM)-mimetic polyethylene glycol (PEG) hydrogel incorporating polydopamine (PDA)-functionalized zinc oxide nanoparticles (ZnONPs) for infected wound therapy. The amino acid-functionalized PEG hydrogel reproduces ECM-like properties to facilitate cell migration and efficient exudate management; however, its lack of intrinsic antimicrobial activity limits therapeutic efficacy.

Primary agricultural products are closely related to our daily lives, as they serve not only as raw materials for food processing but also as products directly purchased by consumers. These products face the issue of freshness decline and spoilage during both production and consumption. Freshness degradation induces sensory deterioration and nutritional loss and promotes harmful substance accumulation, causing gastrointestinal issues or even endangering life.
