Purpose: The purpose was to identify how the ICECAP-A and ICECAP-O have been used with adults who have neurological health conditions.
Methods: Following the Joanna Briggs Institute framework, a scoping review was conducted, searching five databases (Scopus, CINAHL, MEDLINE, Embase, and PsycINFO). Studies were included if participants were adults (age 18+ years) with neurological health conditions, and ICECAP-A or ICECAP-O were used in the study.

This study aimed to evaluate the long-term effectiveness of arthroscopic discopexy using resorbable pins in the treatment of temporomandibular joint (TMJ) disc displacement over a 10-year follow-up period. Prototheca, a genus of opportunistic pathogenic microalgae, can cause protothecosis in humans and animals, manifesting as cutaneous lesions or disseminated/systemic infections. This report describes a rare case of Prototheca wickerhamii toe infection in a 78-year-old Chinese male, presenting initially as gouty arthritis. The patient, who worked in fish farming with frequent water exposure, had a history of herpes zoster and hypertension.

Background: Laughter has been associated with mental and physical health benefits, but longitudinal evidence on whether laughter in daily life protects against depression remain limited. This study aimed to examine whether the frequency of laughter in daily life is associated with the risk of depression onset among older adults.
Methods: We analyzed data from 32,666 adults aged ≥65 years participating in the Japan Gerontological Evaluation Study, a three-wave cohort conducted over six-years.
